Lovely friendly 'local' feel to it. Like any place, better with sunshine, & we were blessed. Good food, good service.

The biggest mussels in a tasty sauce, the best we've ever had! Freshly shipped in Fowey mussels as a starter, as pictured, or a main. Lovely location, friendly folk and relaxed atmosphere outdoors in the extended beer garden. One to add to your list if in the area.

The king prawn was out of this world!
For main we had beer battered haddock and well it was up there with the best !
Wil be a regular and now I will be seeking the roast!

A fantastic traditional pub, serving good food and excellent Salcombe beer. The Gold was superb! Clean, well run and friendly helpful landlady and staff. Well worth the effort!!?
Awesome place. Great location. Cozy, with fireplace and outdoor seating overlooking the river. Wonderful ales and food, friendly and accommodating staff. Perfecto! Six stars.
Absolutely brilliant! It was such a busy evening for them but the food was fantastic. It was so tasty (the Moroccan lamb burger is amazing) and we were served very quickly considering. Great ale, great atmosphere, well worth a visit. Nice one guys!
