Pros: The food was absolutely delicious. We went there in 4. 3 Sunday roasts ( massive portion, beautiful cooked meats). Nice ambience. Good seating and outside options. Food arrived pretty quickly. Dog friendly. Cons: we were sat miles away from the bathroom but there was a slight smell from sewers, which was soon masked by the food smell. So wasn't too bad after that. And lastly, I would have appreciated someone explaining to us how service worked, as we hesitated whether someone would come to take payment from the tables and clear the plates, or not. Or if we had to order everything from the bar or not. I hope the negatives points don't come as a negative but as constructive criticism in order to improve. Overall, I would definitely come back for the food.

We called in for Sunday lunch, we didn't have a reservation and didn't know anything about the place, it didn't look much from outside but we decided to give it a try. My wife and myself both went for the standard roast dinner, one beef and one lamb. The food arrived promptly and was just what I'd fancied. Mashed potatoes, roast potatoes, mashed carrots, cabbage, peas, green beans and a generous portion of meat, topped with lashings of gravy. We both really enjoyed it and could highly recommend it. I don't know how they do it for the price.

Absolutely brilliant, food was excellent 👌, the large roast dinner is a challenge with all the meats in the menu on it, the portions are massive, you're probably best going for the standard as it's quite a good portion, the staff are brilliant too , very helpful and nothing is too much trouble, book a table as it was packed, there is a more limited menu in a Sunday but it's excellent 👍
