WOW, I had almost given up on finding good quality fish & chips in the area! Will be back even if me and the tootler (dog) have to drive on the pedestrian area to get there. I've been here three years. I didn't even know they were there. I'm not going to leave him in the tesco or home bargins or futher afield near the train stastion car parks. Pedestrian areas for the win in small towns 🙄....

I stopped going here just before COVID due to the change in the quality of the fish and chips and the portions, I however called in last week on passing and I was very surprised, the fish was cooked while I waited and the chips also and they were the best I have had from anywhere in the area. Thought it might be a one off so called again yesterday 26/ 7/21 and they were delicious again . Portions are better to and I will be going again.

Only had chips and spicy curry but they were delicious. Its a great little shop and the staff are amazing especially Vicki, she really is a breath of fresh air 😍
