Delicious Turkish breakfast (served all day), and my husband and niece enjoyed their falafel, and chicken and chorizo wraps too. Yummy takeaway baklava for our train journey home. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. A great option for lunch after our trip to the nearby mining museum, would definitely recommend it! @goingthewholehogg
Amazing food, been here four times, three times sit in, once takeaway. All sit in came really quickly and takeaway was only about a ten minute wait. I have had a burger, a bacon brie and cranberry panini, the halloumi salad twice and a Ferrero Royale waffle. All of the smoothies are sensational! They were all reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. So so so good. The staff checked in on us every so often and confirmed that the food was good which I appreciated. They were all really nice. The overall aesthetic of the cafe is amazing and I feel so comfortable in there. It's cozy, but not too heavy or dark. And the seats are really comfy. 😁
First visit today, but it won't be the last. Food was hot and delicious. Had to wait a wee while as the face was busy, but was worth the wait staff are lovely and prices very reasonable.

We arrived for a trip but needed help getting to our final destination. Someone from Kaya’s Cafe gave us a meal that was delicious, including sandwich and chips, then he drove us to our final destination after he was done with work. Everyone on staff was very kind, great food and great people!
I found this lovely little place by accident. Never the less it is good clean food and the staff are friendly and professional.
They open at 8am which suits so many people.

First visit for a takeaway. Service good, though seemed to be maybe too many staff, tripping over each other.
Small mix up with one of my rolls in that only provided a single filling instead of double that was ordered. Shame we only discovered when we got home.
Coffee was excellent, though quite small cups, but very tasty.
Any negatives were very minor, quality of service and food more than made up.
Look forward to trying again.

I live in in Newtongrange and have not visited this cafe for a few years, I was looking for a good plate of food to eat after my night out to help get over my hangover, this place is great, the guys that run it are very friendly, the food is amazing, well cooked and presented, it's more than a cafe for a cuppa, it's a great place to go for breakfast, lunch or early dinner it has a simple but very tasty menu, we ordered 3 mains, 3 drinks, and an extremely tasty milk shake at the end and it all came to £22, absolute bargain, I would highly recommend it if you haven't been.
