FANTASTIC FOOD - prepared fresh swifty and wonderful flavours.

Great gluten free delivered takeaway !! Asked them with a previous order to include a menu indicating what was gluten free and to my surprise it included most of the menu!! We have enjoyed many a takeaway from the Lantern now safely reassured it's safe for me to eat! Food always arrives hot and fresh, generous portion sizes! Even included some fortune cookies which whilst they weren't GF my husband certainly enjoyed them!

Definitely my favourite place to get a Chinese. Staff are friendly and polite. Food tasted amazing however I did have leftovers for dinner the following day as there was so much.

Had food for me and some mates. Everyone loved it and there was plenty left. We would recommend The Lantern to anyone who comes round. The staff was friendly and the food was cooked quickly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Had the pinapple duck and mixed meat/special fried rice, the sauce the duck dish was in had a nice strong flavour and the rice was pretty decent too, generous chunks of meat in both dishes. 100% will go again, tonnes better than the other Chinese I tried in Newtown that was so disgusting I couldn't even eat it.
