Arrived on Friday 13th to camp for a long weekend. Campsite is spotless, showers and toilets immaculate and owners could not be more friendly and accommodating. Visited the pub last night for live music and had a blast! Drinks very reasonable priced and their Thatcher's cider was spot on. The new owners clearly care for their pub and their customers. This is our new favourite place to stay and we will most definitely be back next year. Many, many times! Thank you to all the staff for a great way to end the summer. Roll on next year!

Had a very nice Sunday roast here with all the trimmings. Plenty of parking and a dog friendly bar area inside together with a beer garden in the hotter weather. Would recommend a visit.

Very well thought out site. Certainly will be coming again. New owners seem to be doing a very good job. Convenient not only for Portsmouth ferries but also the vast number of activities around Portsmouth, including the heritage dockyard, royal armories, fabulous beaches, and many other family oriented fun things to do.

We came here for Sunday dinner. It was really nice, plenty of choice and a decent size. The puddings were lovely too ( I'm still full up) . The staff were really lovely and helpful nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely go back.

This pub has charm, character and views to enjoy. I visited today with my friend for lunch. We sat by a lovely wood stove in a room that also has a well in the room! We ordered home made burger and a home made steak and ale pie. Both served with chips and peas and a nice draught to wash it down with. Oh my! The food is DELICIOUS and lots of it too. Quirky little jugs for gravy and huge yummy chips. Very, very moorish. Lovely friendly staff who were eager to please. This pub has plenty of seating in a warm and welcoming setting. It also has a certified campsite too for those wishing to explore the area. Highly recommended.
