Had a fantastic experience here tonight. Every item we ordered was cooked to perfection�. Knowing what true Indian foods taste like, Mama Masala surpassed all expectations we had and it wasn’t like your run of the mill Indian food that most places here push out. The flavours were authentic and balanced and every dish had that “oomph” factor to it including the pistachio kulfi which was a satisfying way to end to our amazing meal.���The ambience and service was top notch as was the choice of music. The cocktails too were well done and fresh �. A wee gem for Glengormely. If you haven’t tried this place take a punt on it and you will never look elsewhere for your Indian fix after�.
A great place for a meal. I went for a night out with friends and we were not disappointed. Food and staff lovely. Decor is great as is the atmosphere. Only changes i would recommend are larger sides as i thought portions a little on the mean side and would have appreciated a biscuit served with tea/coffee/special coffees. I will definitely be back.
If there was an option to give the food 6 stars I would have done so. Ordered a dish not on the menu and the chef came up with an amazing creation.
The level of spice was perfect. I like spicy dishes and my wife likes a mild dish. Both spice levels were perfect.
Staff are so friendly and you can tell it’s a family run establishment that values new customers.
Been here a few times just but Staff were so lovely as always! There’s food for everyone, whether you love really spicy food or aren’t fond of too much spice, there’s something on the menu that you’ll like. Anything we needed the staff had us sorted before we even asked, definitely recommend and will be back!
After so long we got to taste an authentic Indian cuisine with a fusion twist!Right from the chilli chicken to the garlic chicken, butter chicken to squid fry..it was filled with flavours and the right spices! So glad we came across this location. Definitely coming back again! Well done you guys!! Keep up the authenticity!
Mamma Masala is the best Indian Restaurant and Take Away in Glengormley, hands down. The food is a mix of authentic Indian flavours, perfectly balanced with excellent quality ingredients. Service is attentive and friendly with beautiful decor and prompt delivery. An absolute must-visit!
Have dinned here several times and have never had bad service yet. The food is excellent and so is the service. The menu is very varied and if you are not keen on Indian the pizza and pasta is outstanding. Highly recommended
It’s really fantastic place to dine in, Take out. I would say this is really authentic Indian and Italian food restaurant. The owner is superb, quick food serving, multiple cuisine must try pizza, tea, paneer tikka served with authentic indian chutney.
Ambience is super nice, usually the restaurant have bookings but they can accommodate everyone.
I had gone to Mama Masala after hearing a lot from friends. And it didn't disappoint. The best thing about the place is the service and friendliness of the staff. I had ordered the Chilli squid starter and the tandoori king prawns. The chilli squid hot the spot perfectly. An absolute delight to eat the dish. To be honest I would have gone for one more portion of the squid if I hadn't ordered mains. My wife ordered the chicken 65 starter and butter chicken with Garlic naan. Both were very good. We ordered a side of Dal Makhani as well.
You can ask the chef to customize your dish to the level of spiciness that suits you.
One more thing - the ice-cream. I am used to getting cheap ice-cream for dessert at restaurants. But I must say I was pleasantly delighted to get a decent vanilla ice cream.
Definitely will be returning.
Mama masala, what can I say. Amazing food, service and hospitality. Ran by the best family you'll find doing anything like this in newtownabbey or elsewhere. If you haven't tried the Chicken 65 you're missing out!!!
My favourite Indian restaurant. First class service and food especially the butter chicken and their garlic naan bread its to die for the flavours mmm can't recommend enough. Their cocktails also deserve a special mention particularly their gin slushie 🙂
The food was so delicious and finger lickin good. The staff memebers were cooperative and gave excellent service. This restaurant is worth visiting
