Lynns Fish N Chips

Love their food as always. Its rare to get a negative experience out of this place, and although I have had 1 or 2 bad experiences over the years, you just let them know what was wrong last time and they are quite understanding and apologetic. The place however could do with a makeover, my parents and friends have often said that it feels like sitting in a bus shelter, and I do agree, it could be better. Sometimes the table and chair layouts could be better, the place is often breezy and can be crowded. Another piece of constructive criticism I could give them, is to go a little easier on cooking the batter. It can sometimes feel like trying to chew on gravel. I miss their old batter that had a nice soft crunch to it but also felt a little soft. That was the best batter. Sometimes their portion sizes aren't the same as others. For example, me and my brother ordered 2 fish suppers. They came in the typical meal boxes you'd get from a chippy. But when we both opened up the boxes, I had a noticable more amount of chips in mine than my brother did. This isn't the first time this has happened. But OVERALL... Their food is mostly nice, the place/surroundings could be better, the staff are often friendly and helpful.
