Absolutely love this place and the staff are amazing. The food is just unreal with big portions and great value for money. We had the Sunday buffet for £22 and for starters we had the miso soup, then a wide selection of different sushi and then onto main course, I ordered the squid with noodles and it was all delicious. The live cooking show is absolutely hilarious and very interactive which is fun and the staff can't do enough for you. Great cocktails also. Highly recommended and can't wait to go back. Thanks again Natalie and Nicola xx

First time here and loved it. Sat at the grill watching the chef doing his magic! Amazing food, the restaurant have a great vibe and all staff were very friendly, the only "let down" was a bit slow service taking into consideration that there wasn't many people in. Though still would happily go back!

The takeaway sushi was delicious but the Bok Choy portion must have been a mistake as it was literally a few pieces... for almost £6.

Beautiful food here last night, wonderful service. Everyone was so welcoming and inviting. Our chef was very entertaining and funny! Cannot wait to go back and explore the menu some more as everything was delicious!

Food was delicious! The pork katsu donburi was so tender and flavourful, it was obvious all of the food was made fresh. The sauce was lovely, not something I've had before. The chicken bento was presented beautifully and my friend was able to try something new, we're still trying to figure out the shredded green side dish is! Staff were extremely polite and helpful which was a bonus. Would highly recommend if you are if the area.

Absolutely brilliant!! This was my first time eating here and I have to say the food was scrumptious!! I loved the Japanese layout of the restaurant and the service was impeccable. Rose was our waitress and she was so friendly and kind! I've always loved Japanese food so I'm glad I wasn't let down. I also had the experience of seeing the chef live cooking show which was amazing! The chef was so skilled and a master at cooking. The last thing I'll say is that the music choice was fantastic! So overall, an amazing place to eat and have a great day out! Full five stars all the way Teppan Genie!

A wonderful evening was had in this terrific Japanese restaurant last night with our great friends, The food was amazing and so very fresh and full of flavour 🍲😋the staff were also fantastic and great craic! At the end of the night they love to sing a bit of karaoke 🌃🎶😁which I must say they are very good at. If you have not been give it a go and you will not be disappointed, we certainly will be back to this wee gem in the heart of the town. 👌Oh its bring your own aswell. 🍷🍾🍻🍺

Excellent food, a real discovery! Very friendly and welcoming staff. Magic culinary skills performed in front of us. Well worth it as made to feel very special. Fresh produce, amazing flavours and great fun. Thank you all. Great evening and our niece throughly enjoyed it! Fiona 👏👏🙏

I think I have an addiction to this place. Since it opened its doors we have been in maybe 13 times already 🙄 So please Ards now has a Japanese restaurant with such lovely staff and unbelievable food! Keep up the good work guys, love it!
