Delicious! We loved everything we ordered and they all came in huge portions. I wasn't aware initially that they don't serve you and they do take out boxes for dine in, so my expectations were low at first. However, once the food came out, it surprised me how much they gave you. We ordered 2 chicken Tikka masalas, chicken biryani, and garlic and bullet nann. They also gave you a take out box full of rice for the Tikka masalas, which was extremely generous. This restaurant also did a great job at labeling the spice levels, and we got the Indian Spicy for all of the dishes, which turned out excellent since we both love spicy dishes. On top of that, the biryani (superb to say the least) and the tikka came in deep bowls with plenty of rice and sauce in the tikka. Lastly, they were extremely generous with their nann portions for the 3-4$ we paid. This was definetly one of my best Indian dining experiences!

My favorites are the gobi Manchurian and shrimp and pepper fry! Tried out the Shrimp chettinad for the first time and the flavor just hits you…so perfect and excellent for dipping your naan and parathas! My husband loves the goat biryani and get its every single time we go. Best Indian food around hands down!

I ordered the “boneless” Crab Curry, medium heat and 2 butter Roti. I think it is lump crab. It is all served as takeout (in boxes) but you can eat inside with no service. I didn’t eat inside but others were. The food was very good and you get a 15% discount for paying cash.

This was my 1st time here and my 1st time eating Indian food. All I can say is WOW!!! I got chicken Tiki Masala. Indian medium spice. The taste was phenomenal. I thought i was safe but The spice caught up to me about half way through. Lol I definitely will be going back.

The place (currently, perhaps) is "self-serve" --- meaning, there are places to sit and the decor is nice, with a couple of televisions (showing what appears to be Bollywood, which I thought was neat), and you can eat with friends and/or family, but you get a menu and go up to the counter to order. You then are given a plate and your food is brought out in trays. It isn't a place where a waiter or waitress takes your order and keeps refilling your drinks. I have no issue with that, but some go to a place to "be served", so keep that in mind.
The food itself was very tasty, and I went with the "middle" spice option, as you get to choose your spice level, and it was quite nice and perfect for me. It was wonderful to try Indian cuisine and it was excellent! I love the variety of dishes and I also want to add that I love that so many different people from cultures are bringing/sharing some of their signature dishes in VA --- it's like sharing a part of your home and history. Looking forward to trying more dishes!
I had the Pineapple Kesari (dessert) and the "Special Chicken" Biryani --- both excellent dishes! They are in the first photo (the photos may not display right unless the photos section is visited?). The Kesari was a sort of paste that had raisins and almond pieces and was nice and the Biryani was a tasty rice and curry chicken meal mixed with with herbs and a boiled egg!

One of the best Chicken Biryani's i have eaten in a while. To find it in Norfolk.. it was the perfect ending to my visit to the Peninsula. Everything we ordered was good, Chicken Biryani, Chicken 65, Palak paneer, Veg and paneer Biryani. Hope you continue to keep the authentic flavors.

We ordered our food to go. Biryani Hub is one of the best Indian restaurants in the area. We ordered Manchurian vegetables which are fried vegetable balls covered lightly in a chili and green onion sauce. The sauce tasted like a mild general tso. The samosas are like a meal in itself - four come in an order with two sauces. The samosas were crispy on the outside with a flavorful filling. The butter chicken had small chunks of white meat chicken covered in a rich, buttery sauce. You can request your spice level with all of the food. The butter chicken was good however not the very best butter sauce we've had in this area. The curry vegetables were spicy and delicious. The curry comes with a side of rice which was fluffy and airy. The garlic naan was a great choice as it complimented all of the food. Portion size is good and we ate leftovers for 2 days. The restaurant was clean, the staff is friendly and you receive a nice discount for paying with cash. The location is easy to find with adequate parking.

Honestly SO GOOD. I got the mild but it was still a little spicy (I think that’s just my taste buds being WEAK) because everything has amazing flavor. The naan was still warm when it was delivered, the samosas were delicious, and the rice has the perfect amount. Will be ordering again.
