Hy-vee

Man this place has gone down hill. I grabbed one of their items that was buy get one free and they charged me for both items. Then when I went to customer service they told me that the customer has to point out if it's buy one get one free or they don't give you the deal. I think this is wrong in so many ways. When I use to work at this store they had the policy that if the item was priced wrong you got the item for free. I guess they don't do this anymore either so they can get around giving you deals or the sales that they supposedly have. I understand it's hard to find help, but it shouldn't be the customers job make sure they get the deals that are clearly marked.

[2/4/22 5:00-5:30pm] lady in customer service is so rude, bad humor, on the phone and in person. I can't believe someone like her could be there to "help" customers. It was a really bad experience. Proly not coming back here again. Oh and it's ridiculous that I can't pay money order with card, RIDICULOUS

I was happy to be able to go back into Hy-vee after being banned for having my service dog in the other location. thanks to the owner who dropped that ban and educated his employee that gave me some static. someday i will feel safe again to walk into the other location but for now am very happy that the owner really took the time to listen to me and make things right again. I again live Hy-vee 🙂!

Did not like that I had to check myself out but the employee designated to overseeing the self checkout was surprisingly helpful and did not feel like he was watching me only to make sure I did not steal like other stored do.. but still don't like having to do the work that was once provided and not get payed or atleast a discount.
