Water Margin

We booked on the 17th August for a table of six and when we arrived on the 27th August no reservation was found. Water Margin found us a table and we had a lovely time. The staff were lovely, the lady in charge looked after us, especially my father who is elderly. The service was excellent, even though they were very busy. We had the buffet meal and every single dish was delicious. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for looking after us and for a lovely evening. The restaurant had a nice vibe and fun atmosphere.

Second time been here and second time this has happened. Look at your bill before you leave as an added extra could be on there without you knowing . With my partner scrutinising each thing they can’t get away with it with him. Both times have been an extra drink . A Diet Coke is £4.50 and for two £9.00 , we only had one on both occasions we visited but were charged for two . They do remove it when challenged and it’s removed immediately but just be aware when visiting . Other than that the restaurant is first class, food is amazing , service is fast , spotless inside and free parking out the back if you can squeeze your car in. Staff are very attentive and welcoming . You can choose to have buffet at just under £27 per person or order individually from a separate menu . If you order buffet you can’t take spare dishes away with you which is fair enough . Very enjoyable night out apart from the added extra at the end . It could have been a human error but to have it done twice in a few months apart seems strange . Wheelchair access will be awkward so call before you go . Some one tried to get a pram in there but couldn’t and they left without a meal .

We've eaten here many times and the food has always been delicious. At our most recent visit today, service was excellent, food came out quickly, and tasted hot and fresh. We had a set menu, and the quantity was just right. It does get very busy so can get a bit crowded at peak times, but that's probably just testament to the quality of the restaurant!

So @ £100 for 3 including couple of drinks & tips. Had Emperor meals. Plenty of food fast service and pretty busy on our Thurs evening. Eaten there several times before. Your not hurried- the car park is small if its a packed restaurant you will need to park on the road. They appear to maintain same staff which is also a good sign So if you want a reliable Chinese, we can recommend this place.
