Give This Restaurant a Michelin Star! Osteria is undoubtedly one of my favourite restaurants I've ever eaten at. As someone who enjoys everything from fine dining to a Maccies; Osteria just hits on every point. The Food: I had a duck terrine followed by the beef cheeks and it was one of the most flavourful and delicious meals I've ever had, hands down. Great care has been taken with portion size and presentation and everything feels like it has its place. The Service: The family run restaurant is attentive and friendly. You are welcomed in and given a five star service from start to finish with the staff taking their time to talk to you when you wish and leave you if you are busy talking. The service is quick but you will never feel rushed and the attention to the layout of the table is important to the staff. My partner spilled some wine and the staff took it upon themselves to clean up and cover the wine stain which was such a nice note and handled in a no hassle and respectful manner. Atmosphere: The atmosphere is homely and despite being a small space, there is plenty of room between tables. We were certainly the youngest people at the restaurant by at least a decade and treated with the same level as respect as anyone our senior. All in all, this is the second time I have been to Osteria and the second time I have been wowed. North Berwick is now somewhere I would come to SPECIFICALLY to visit Osteria and when you go you will see why. Please visit this outstanding establishment and show the staff your love. This is a restaurant that you will talk with your friends, family, work colleagues etc. for years to come. I certainly do and will continue to rave about my experience here.

Absolutely fantastic food in a small and friendly restaurant. Every course was impeccably presented and tasted like God him/her self had prepared them, and then laced them with goodness that can only be achieved by grinding unicorn horn and sprinkling it over the top. My only complaint is that I was unable to stop myself from eating and am therefore slightly bloated today. Fully deserving of the vast array of awards it's won, and definitely worth splashing out on.

A most wonderful dining experience. Angelo and his son Stefano are so helpful, knowledgeable and charming to all of the customers. The food is out of this world, I have never experienced such beautifully presented and prepared culinary delights. The pannecotta was the best I had ever tasted. We have booked a table for when we return to Scotland before we left the restaurant. Thank you, from Debbie and Gary.

Just had the best dining experience ever! If you look at the set menu price first - don’t! The food is the best I have ever had - every course amazing! The service made me feel like a celeb & the ambiance was so relaxed. The first thing we do when we’ve booked accommodation for nd t year is book Osteria. Truly the best overall dining experience

Excellent restaurant. Food was superb. We had goat's cheese souffle and salmon tartare to start, mixed seafood platter and steak for mains. All of it was beautifully cooked. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. As it was so busy (always a good sign) we could only get a late-ish booking, but we called in at lunchtime to check if there was anything earlier available. We then had one call offering us an earlier time, and another call when our table was available. Great service before we'd even arrived. Restaurant itself is a bustling place with a great atmosphere, even on a Wednesday night. Thoroughly recommend Osteria and we will definitely be back.
