White chocolate and peppermint brownies.... To die for ! Staff always friendly and make a point of talking to visitors. Definitely a place to keep returning to.

Absolutely incredible place! The decor has to be seen with its reclamation antiques. Staff are amazingly friendly and so helpful and just have such a lovely manner. The coffee tastes like nothing I have had before its superb. The food is classic and lovely, grilled cheese highly recommended! The brownies are out of this world, I never enjoyed brownies until i came here. They also change the brownies on a regular basis so you have the excitement of trying new ones each time....I have made it my mission to try them all. Incredible work guys and girls! Love it more everytime I visit. It would be daily if I lived closer �

Favourite stop in North Berwick.
Been in several independent coffee shops in London where I live; Steampunk is really much more interesting and unique.
Lovey people, excellent coffee & delicious treats to spoil yourself!
The whole concept of converting this building in a coffee lovers place is absolutely amazing!
Ps: the highlight is of course is the roastery machine inside ;-)

Wanted somewhere that would welcome me and my dogs - the reviews were spot on - lovely flat white, delicious granola and my three dogs were welcomed with a bowl of water and a dog treat each. Highly recommend - lovely atmosphere and fabulous staff. Thank you.

Excellent coffee. Good atmosphere. Friendly staff. I was there on a weekday, but the coffee shop is combined with a recordstore and a pizza ‘place’ on weekends. Looks promising.

The cutest and friendliest coffee shop around. Sure, maybe there are some that are just as cute and just as friendly, but none can surpass Steampunk. Delicious coffee that they roast themselves. Add a croissant or tart and you are ready for your day. Check out the record store upstairs, too. No wonder the music playing inside is so great.

Why would you want to go to Costa when you could come here? Superb small coffee shop run by, what looked like surfer dudes ( one of them must use so much hair spray!). Great coffee and cakes, nice atmosphere albeit looked like a mother and baby class had finished and they had all descended to Steampunk! Coffee portion size was just right. Seating area also outside. Stylish toilet. If ever in North Berwick again, we will be back.

Hidden gem! One of the best roasters in Scotland I've found. Don't get coffee anywhere else in North Berwick. This is craft at its best. Keep up the good work!

Great coffee and place. Had tried their roasts before at other venues and it's been consistently very good but this was the first time to HQ.Visited out a cycle and they were really welcoming and have a good tap for filling up water bottles too. Nice courtyard to sit in the nice weather.

This place has character. Yes this is just off the main street next to a car park. Don't be fooled. It is better than the Costa for feel factor alone. Great service. Good coffee and tea. Surprisingly good sized menu for food. Staff very friendly. I was surprised at so many staff were working mid week. It was busy so that tells me all. Great outside area to sit in sun in the morning and lunch time. This had seating and tables upstairs. Toilets very clean.
