The Tiffin Box

My husband and I affectionately referred to this place as Pakora Palace during our stay in North Berwick. We tried every variation of pakora on offer. The vegetable and the fish pakora were excellent. I recommend buying a double portion of fish pakora, swinging by The Rocketeer for a box of chips, and sitting by the beach to enjoy this primo seaside snack. The chickpea and potato curry was also excellent, and the staff are friendly. We can’t wait to be back.

Had the best Indian carry out ever last night!!! Everything was cooked to perfection, the chicken, the lamb, the lentils, rice and garlic naan bread, were utterly divine!! Thank you so much Nav for our first experience of your amazing cuisine, we’ll certainly be coming back for more! Ordered this evening when setting up camp at tantallon caravan park took a tad longer than expected with a baby in tow! Guy I spoke to was lovely, recommended how many portions would be required, even did one as a meal deal for us (I would have been unaware of this as Internet signal was just strong enough to get my the phone number). Was happy to deliver to the reception desk and called us on his approach so we could collect it. Food was roasting hot and very tasty, we only had the korma, pakora and a nann but it was lovely and fresh, loads of sauce and nice big chicken chunks! Thanks very much!!
