Clean & Smart Restaurant, no thanks to Greggs concession who refuse to take turns cleaning the toilets. π₯Ήπ½
Gemma and the other lady were excellent and really friendly, and despite a small size the kitchen staff served us and everyone else extremely quickly all food was warm aswell which is a plus sometimes a struggle at service stations to find. If your on a long trip like us definitely stop in. We were having a terrible day and it was helped alot by this stop :)
I was served by a lovely young lady called Nicole, the service was brilliant and very fast at getting my order completed, will happily come back anytime she is working. However I did get death stares while I was waiting for my food by other employees. Other than that a great experience with Nicole π
Who doesn't like a Burger King?
Okay, it's not to everyone's taste but every now and again, yum! I had a double whopper with cheese and some chips, one of the best I've ever had! Freshly made and very, very tasty. Delicious.
I wouldn't say this is the cheapest option out there but what is nowadays! Service was good but they were understaffed for a lunchtime.
Overall very good and would recommend.
Excellent service from onsote Manager who was serving, clearing tables, dealing with foreign truck drivers and generally bossing the place in an affable manner. He rustled me up a gluten free, bun-less burger fries and drink for less than a tenner. Plenty of parking spaces.
The place seemed spacious and the staff were friendly.
Best fries I've had in ages - they rivalled Five Guys! They were quiet when I went but food was quick and tasty.
One of the cleanest stops on the A1 if you want a coffee or bite to eat. Plenty of free parking, easy to find and next door is a filling station.
Staff a bit slow at serving but extremely apologetic for that as they where short staffed.
Nice food. Friendly staff. Very cold in restaurant and even colder in the toilets.
Decent service station. Kept clean staff nice for early morning. Good breakfast choice and great addition of the many combination self service drink machine. Good for a stop off although nothing glamorous as you'd expect. Plenty of parking.
