First time here, I had a Groupon voucher. The food was lovely, and there was plenty to choose from on the menu. Outlook is amazing over the fish quay. Will definitely come back

Went for lunch at this very quaint little pub. Arriving you could look from Car park over into Tyne. If like myself you enjoy river views then I'm sure this would be an experience while visiting this pub. Entering definitely different Alice in wonderland theme complete with bright wallpaper. Choosing where you sit plenty to choose where. Fro. Comfy snug to window views overlooking Tyne . Our orders were taken after being seated ( which best to book). Arrived piping hot . Mmmm we chose fish . OMG freshest fish iv rver tasted and batter beautifully cooked. Only let down was sweet which we ordered Eton mess. Rather sweet and not as I would Imagined it to be. Never mind would definitely recommend this place . Menus online also a set menu if you wish to choose from it. Very good pricing. Toilets two to choose from. Very relaxed and service spot on. Will definitely be going again.

I really enjoyed this lunch. The atmosphere was relaxing with a fine view of the Tyne. We came hungry and we're not disappointed. We had several starters including chicken liver pate with red onion jam, mussels were very good. Prawns were a bit foreign to me in presentation, so I can't pass complete judgement. As a main I added fish and chips which was flaky and clean. Mushy peas put me as if I were in the garden eating them. the staff were very friendly and smiling. Truly recommended.

Great pub, Shame it's at the top of the hill. Lovely interior design based on Alice in Wonderland. Not too busy. Friendly service. Fantastic views of the Tyne and fish quays.

Delicious Mad Hatters tipsy afternoon tea! We were looked after by a lovely young man, Dylan who kept checking we were okay and was so pleasant. The portions were great and the booths we sat in are dog friendly! I would recommend their afternoon teas and if I was a local I’d be trying out their Sunday lunches that seemed popular with other diners. There’s a free car park a 10 minute walk away called Low Lights with plenty of spaces available on busy Sundays :)

Lovely meal and Cocktails. Came with our dog. Always good to find a dog friendly restaurant. Staff are always welcoming and friendly. The views from the rear of the restaurant overlooks the Tyne and Port of North Shields. Love the Cocktail selection and £11 for two cocktails 🍹🍹is very good value for money. Have enjoyed a few meals here now so will Definately be back
