The food is really good n portions are massive. Manager/owner Cliff tries best with atmosphere but it's the boring tourist customers that stop it getting lively tbf n it's the only reason to knock a star off

I had the 'Catch of the Day' which was delicious but the chips were far too brown for my liking. It was my first time eating here and had I known the chips would be like that, I wouldn't have ordered them. However I can't fault the service. Wonderful staff!

We called in for a drink (and to shelter from the rain). Staff could not have been friendlier or service better. We'd already eaten but will be back next week after hearing diners on the next table waxing about the tapas menu. Everyone who came in after us also got a warm welcome. Not true of every bar on the Fish Quay.
Not sure about the wall of shiny skulls though!

Thank you for a lovely meal, the food was very good and reasonably priced. I had hoped for more desserts but the pudding was delicious non the less. We will hopefully return soon

Had a fab breakfast. I had the brekkie burger, which came with hash brown and beans, while my friend had the build your own breakfast. The burger was awesome and the hash browns were really light and fluffy. Staff were lovely and there is a really chilled atmosphere. Would definitely recommend

Had the happy hour 4 tapas and 2 drinks. First class quality food and nice wine. Staff were very attentive.

Popped in after a walk by the sea, big variety on the menu, large portions, burger was really juicy and good quality meat, the fish was the best I’ve had, fresh, white and fell apart, chips were also unreal (fries and chunky cooked chips). Great location, clean, pretty and modern inside. Nice friendly staff, will 100 percent be back again! Also dog friendly - ruby approves 😝

Got there in between services had a bit of a wait did enjoy iced lemon tea great choice of drinks menu seemed limited but did enjoy tapas especially Hake. Strange though deep fried cod with wedges & mushy peas odd. Daughter had the beef salad which was on a batter not what she expected nice but odd again.
