A small Asda, but a lot cheaper than convenience stores near by, eg Asda own brands, varied selection of goods, and opening hours are early to late, staff are very helpful on self service checkouts.

It maybe small but you can get most things and it is now the only "real" supermarket in North Shields town centre.Friendly and helpful staff with free parking for 2hrs I think.

My last visit to ASDA North Shields was a very good experience due to a particular female member of staff who did whatever she could to help me carry out and complete my shopping with the minimum of stress and fuss. Having had a couple of shoulder operations some days are more challenging than others and she did what was necessary to get my shopping done. I will be shopping there in the future.

Weird Asda, has a weird feel to it when you're inside, really dark and not appealing like a normal supermarket. The entrance is weird with a narrow doorway? I had an alright experience though. Tidy and found everything I needed. Edit: lighting has improved. Staff are lovely. Doorway is still annoying but shop has overall improved.
