What an unlikely place to find such a great ice cream parlour. With almost 50 flavours of really top quality ice cream, including vegan options, it's an undiscovered gem at Royal Quays. We had sandwiches first, (they got rid of the pizza oven to make room in the kitchen) and they were a good choice well presented with with optional pizza jokes, if you can read upside down through greaseproof paper. Two scoops of ice cream is easily enough for two people to share and there's something for everyone. I managed them by myself, as a dedicated dessert-o-phile, but my tastes are unusual (liquorice and black cherry, pistachio) while other people chose traditional favourites (rum and raisin, amaretto and cherry, double chocolate, luxury vanilla) which are more open to stolen spoonfuls from people in your party.... choose wisely

One of the best pizzas you will have! They use all great quality ingredients and for what you pay is a steal! The ice creams are just as good and again very affordable and generous in their scoops. All topped off with great service.

Excellent selection of both vegan and dairy ice creams and very competitively priced in comparison to other similar ice cream parlours across the North East. Delicious, value for money and good portion sizes, what's not to like? We've been back on a few occasions now and will continue to do so. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The service was amazing, staff were patient even to listen to my youngest son make an order. We ordered different flavours so we could try them out and they were all delicious.

We always come here for ice cream! My little girl loves it. Tastes amaaaazzing, tastes better and much better value than down at the coast. So many flavours to choose from also! :)

Mooranda’s is a lovely venue at Royal Quays.
Nice coffee and a delicious pizza and the ice cream is one of the nicest I have tasted!
Lovely staff and nice atmosphere with music and everyone chatting.
Doesn’t take American Express.
Have asked to edit the name of the venue as not right and does so much more than ice cream!
Coffee, pizza, ice cream. What’s not to like!!
