Popped in for drink and had food as well. Lamb stew was delicious according to hubby. I had smoke salmon with poached eggs (owner kindly replaced scrambled with poached for me) which was lovely. Would recommend
Just had a lovely breakfast here, super cup of tea. Friendly atmosphere and delicious food. Menu and specials very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend coming here for breakfast and lunch. Certainly will return.
A lovely spot. Recommended by one of the locals while I was working out of the nearby Costa. A modest space with delightfully warm and helpful staff. Payment, service and food was all sorted swiftly, and I was left to peacefully enjoy my meal.
Other patrons that joined me were recognised on entry, duly seated and served. All in all it's a lovely spot, and a great place to swing by for a light lunch. Highly recommend if you're looking for a cosy place and a home-cooked meal.
Lovely food very good choice friendly table service
Food was really good and reasonably priced. We did book but there were also spare tables weekday lunchtime. Only downside was the smell of fat cooking for the rest of the day due to ventilation and the kitchens being essentially in the same room as the seating, though screened. Nice staff also.
