Been here twice in the last month. The first time with my 2 year old son, the staff were really kind to us both and made us feel very welcome. The children's meals are affordable and freshly made- really good food!
The second time was a hen do. The staff again were welcoming and really got into the spirit with us. Also, some pretty good offers on prosecco! Whether it's for a family meal or a night out, I'd strongly recommend this pub! Good staff, good atmosphere and good food & drink = amazing.

Just popped in for a quick drink but ended up having 2. The place has just been taken over , so I don't know what it was like before , but the owner's were friendly and the old local we got talking to was full of knowledge , who got on great with my partner as she went there in the 70s. Good prices give it a go if your passing , don't think they do food at the moment ... But I could be wrong.
Great Dog friendly pub, staff were very helpful and attentive, the food was excellent and very reasonably priced, they managed to get a stake on the mixed grill a perfect medium.

First time visiting. It felt warm and friendly, not noisy even though it was a Saturday afternoon.

We only called in for a drink on a very hot afternoon but found the place to be very nice as it seems to have retained its original style. The management/staff eere very pleasant and everywhere is very clean. We understand the management have only recently taken over but if they continue in the same way then they will certainly be successful. We would not hesitate to call in again and would be happy to try out the menu.
