A group of us went here for the first time today and had a pleasant experience. We started with the summer rolls, which were fresh and out quickly, followed by the fried king prawns in garlic & salt (delicious!), then.... this bad boy for my main... This (house special) tofu vermicelli with spring rolls was 👌 and massive.
Verdict: clean fresh and generous portions.... I'll be back 🔫
Authentic Vietnamese cuisine in the heart of Northampton Town centre. Quite literally a journey to Vietnam while still being in the UK. The food is fresh and made to order. The Lady is very helpful with the orders. I really liked the summer rolls. The Udon Noodles and Soft Noodles are very nice too. The ambience is cosy and homely. The prices are very reasonable. They accept cards.
Food cooked with heart. No MSG. Everything prepared with the care and attention an Asian mum would for her child. The vegetarian spring roll was so so so memorable, with fresh ingredients from the UK this probably even beats even the street hawkers in Vietnam! Had no idea how to use the coffee filter and the owner very warmly walked over and demonstrate. Bet she had a laugh seeing us struggle and all in good humour!
The barbecue pork was divine, depth of flavour with the meat marinade, fresh herbs and everything, grilled over charcoal. Pho broth was authentic and seasoned expertly. Will definitely come back again.
