The best pub for food in the town centre in my opinion. The food is fantastic, staff are friendly and helpful and they have a great selection of vegan and vegetarian options if you have someone in your party who requires them.

I threw a party here and the room/food/ drinks were so great! the staff were so accommodating and helped me with everything i asked, even when showing me round when I first went to look they were so lovely and answered all my questions! Will definitely be back!

Great drink & food, kind service. They offer different special menus on Tuesdays, food is well made. Thy have a courtyard where you can sit and enjoy fresh air.
They also have a good selection of beverages.

We had the best time at The Lamplighter!!! Especially on the Saturday when the 2 bartender ladies serving us. The place is like a hidden gem of Northampton. People are super friendly here. My partner had Steak & Ale pie listed on the special board menu. I had Dirty burger which I really enjoyed it so much with their skinny fries - would highly recommend it. The drinks were top-notch, one of my most favourite Passionfruit martinis. I was also pleased that they were able to make such tasty White Russian by request as it is not even on the menu!! Overall, they easily deserve 5 stars. Keep up the good work guys.

We came to you because my friend found excellent reviews and suggested we met there for dinner and a drink. We were incredibly impressed with the selection of food and drinks. Also the staff and chef were a credit to the establishment. Congratulations on an excellent business.

We came here for Sunday dinner after more good recommendations than I can remember - and I have to say the high praise was well warranted! I can easily say that all the staff there were lovely, the food was gorgeous (sorry for the lack of main’s picture, I was too excited to eat it to get one lol) The entire experience was amazing and we’ll definitely be coming here again - p.s Thankyou again chef(s) I’m one happy girl

I love this place. Always tasty food and a good atmosphere. I go for the vegan option every time and it never disappoints. They have live music some weekends and DJ's and themed nights. One of the best pubs in Northampton.

Lovely place for food and drink. We went in for Sunday roast. Good choice of roasts. Beef, chicken, pork, nut and even turkey. Staff were very friendly and helpful, providing extra gravy with the main course and an additional scoop of ice cream on our desserts. We also managed a cheeky little Espresso Martini, which was amazing. Highly recommended.
