The Church

We held our wedding at The Church on 21st Oct 2023 and it was fantastic. It was the most perfect venue. The staff were friendly and helpful. The building itself is stunning. I liaised with Shannon from start to finish on all the wedding planning and she was there on the day ensuring things ran smoothly and went to plan (which it did!) The food was brilliant, the DJ that I booked through the venue was amazing and had everyone on the dancefloor. We've had so much positive feedback from our guests. We can't thank Shannon and her team enough for all their hard work and for making our big day so special. Would highly recommend!

I hosted a family party for my mums 60th birthday on Saturday and absolutely recommend this venue for a special event. The planner made the event stress free. The venue was absolutely beautiful. The food was just delicious, especially the pork sharing boards. Really family friendly too, with little ones I was expecting to leave early but we all had such a great time my toddler was happy to stay and be entertained by the band and the bar staff.

Hosted my mum's 60th here this weekend and we were all so blown away by the spectacular service, food and beautiful venue. All our guests were so happy with the delicious food. They really helpful in the planning phase of the party and made it look so beautiful. It was also really child friendly as we had lots of little ones and they were made to feel very welcome. I would definitely have a party here again, it would make a beautiful wedding venue and can't wait to come back for one of their pop up events. Don't hesitate to book you will not get somewhere this beautiful in this location! Thank you!

Visited for a family birthday party at the weekend . The venue is beautifully steeped in character and history. The bar staff and servers were excellent and very attentive. Enjoyed the food very much, a delicious mixed starter selection, 3 meat roast and lovely desserts (the profiteroles *chefs kiss*). The church specially catered for allergies with no hassle too. I was especially impressed with the staff who made sure everyone glasses were topped up and were all very friendly and so good with the families children. Cannot recommend this venue enough.

Another Great meal at the Church Restaurant, this is the 2nd time we have been for Sunday lunch and was even better than the 1st time. We had our wedding reception here in 2015 and wish we could go back more than we do as we love the place. The new owners are continuing the previous work and really expanding the offer. We will be back again soon for Sunday lunch!!
