I had the pleasure of visiting La Terraza Tapas Bar in Upton with my kids, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The ambiance was incredibly cozy and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a family outing. The friendly staff added to the welcoming atmosphere, making us feel right at home.
The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the tapas selection. The steak with chimichurri sauce was a burst of flavors that left us craving for more, and the Tempura prawns were simply delectable. It's clear that the chefs here take pride in their creations, as every dish we tried was a delightful journey for the taste buds.
As a first-time visitor, I was thoroughly impressed by the overall experience, and I can confidently say it won't be our last visit. While the prices leaned slightly towards the expensive side, the quality of the food and the cozy ambiance more than made up for it. La Terraza Tapas Bar strikes the perfect balance between a gourmet dining experience and a comfortable family outing.
I also appreciated the cleanliness of the restaurant, which is always an important factor for me when choosing a place to dine. All in all, La Terraza Tapas Bar offers a fantastic option for a memorable lunch with family or friends. If you're looking for a place that combines delicious food, a warm atmosphere, and a touch of elegance, this is definitely a spot worth considering.
It was overall a lovely night out with friends and family, staff were great and very helpful. Food was delicious, however slightly greasier than I would expect. Not sure if I would want to go again, as it was a bit pricey as well. 4* for service, as they forgot of of our dishes, so had to ask for it and wait for it to be cooked, while the rest of the food was already on the table. They did apologized though and were very nice.
I'd suggest coming well before your parking time on busy nights, as the parking is very limited and shared with other businesses. I had to let everyone out and wait for an empty spot for a while.
Best tapas I have ever had! I would highly recommend, all of the food was incredible, huge selection and great portion sizes. The lady serving us was really friendly and helpful since we haven't been before, the best service. Food came quickly and really hot and fresh. This was the perfect place for gluten free people, we shared a great selection of food with my celiac friend. We will be coming back very soon!! A hidden gem in northampton
Thank you once again for a fabulous Family Saturday Evening Dinner. Everyone loved the Food, Wine, Sangria and atmosphere. Service is exceptional as always. I especially loved the Shrimp Fritters and Belly Pork. The Meatballs and Black Pudding were very popular but the favourite of the night as always are the Aubergine Fries. 🍆 See you next time. Our first visit on recommendation. Did not disappoint. Very varied and authentic menu. Jose and Grace were very welcoming. When we visit Northampton again we will return.
We arrived on Tuesday at 20:15 and the restaurant was completely full! Lovely atmosphere and buzzing around.
We were sat upstairs and ordered plenty of food. Have to say the whole experience was phenomenal!
Food arrived at good temperature and presentation too - the chorizo and Potatoes Bravas were outstanding! My partner who profoundly refuses to eat pork tried the pork belly and said it was the Incredible! I really enjoyed the chicken thighs in nice sticky sauce too!

Excellent service and food! We ordered 10 dishes in total and struggled to pick a favourite as they were all exceptional. Red wine excellent also and we enjoyed the churros desert! We will 100% be back and highly recommended this place! 10/10!
Variety of tapas on offer with seafood and vegetarian options. Non alcoholic Sagria very nice too.
Food was very delicate and flavoured beautifully. Not a cheap dining experience but not too pricey for a special treat.

Recommend going on a Tuesday to get 2 for 1. Booking a table is a must. Good portions.

Food was nice though some dishes lacked flavour. Really loved the pork cheeks though. Staff were really nice, attentive and knowledgeable.
Pricing wise I'd say quite expensive and parking is very tricky even on a week night
