Overall good experience, traditional Turkish style kebab shop. I would stick to the kebabs if you are ordering food here. Kebabs are good, but I wouldn't recommend the fish. Average battered fish, doesn't compare to a typical fish and chip shop unfortunately, the batter is very bland and tasteless.

I've been using their services for more than 15 yrs and the food is great. A wide variety to choose from and big portions too.

I’ve been looking for a decent kebab since moving to Northampton, and I can honestly say that after trying several, Mr Chippy is the best. Excellent size portion with a delicious salad…loved the pickled red cabbage. I can now stop looking as this is my go to for Kebabs. Only disappointment was they only accept cash so I had to drive down the road to a cash point that worked, then return to collect my order.

Very rarely get to go to Mr Chippy as I now live on the other side of town. Whenever passing I try and pop in. Over 20 years I've been going to this shop and it's always great. I was a little short on cash today so changed my order. Lovely people behind the counter still gave me what I ordered originally. Great service, fresh hot food and consistent.

The food it’s self is great. However there alsways seems to be an issue when you order such as sometime missing sauce you asked for or if you ask for a custom order like a kebab with no onions they still put onions in it, the price is great and nothing to complain about but like most places like this service times could take a

We used to get our F&C & kebabs from here all the time. But when we moved to the other side of town, we tend to visit them lesser. Love the food here! Always the best F&C & Kebabs! We visited them 4 days ago & realized that from the 20 years we've been in Northampton, their standard has not dropped. Always busy in there but the food is always fresh & service is always quick. It can get quite crowded in the shop though, but it's worth it.

My colleague regularly brings us a Mr Chippy.
So far everything I have had has been great.
Started with a large fish and chips and mushy peas and they honestly gave so much I had to come back for seconds.
Today I had an XL kebab and honestly was one of the best ones I've had in a long long time. Huge portion and was made perfectly.
Shame they don't deliver tho but honestly worth the trip.

Food is good and chips are fresh (Not refried). I haven't tried there burgers as yet but the kebabs are on point and they don't ration there portions. The waiting time can be a bit long at times but this might be due to Covid restrictions. Overall the shop and wait time is worth the visit - you won't be disappointed. We'll done guys!

I think one of the best chippys in Northampton, great kebabs, especially the lamb shish and really good size fish! The pricing is really good and I'm a a regular customer; there's never been a need to try anywhere else!

Been here a few time and it has never failed to impress. Last time I went here was after the most appalling experience with a chippy at the end of our road. well worth the mile and a half to drive to get a proper portion of decent chips with good service and a reasonable price.

Been going here since a little kid. Never found a better chippy than this place. I've tried pretty much everything on their menu not 1 bad thing about any of their food. Good prices BIG portions!! Funny and friendly staff.

We've ordered from here a few times and never had a bad meal! Generous portions, the fish is amazing and one regular portion of cheesy chips is enough for two people. Highly recommended

If you are hungry in a hurry and looking for fresh and tasty meat, there is no better place to grab some then Mr. Chippy. I recommend Lamb Shish Kebab with raw onions and chilly sauce. The best hot food after hours at Far Cotton.
