loved this pub,,found it by chance,asked if we could take the dog in,,no problem,sat there 1 1/2 hours drinks and a snack,the food was really nice,guy behind the bar very friendly even brought a drink over for our small poodle,highly reccommend this place and we are definitely going back, well done,,the bar with no name

I recently had my engagement party here and I couldn’t have been happier! The night was absolutely perfect. The team, led by the fabulous Martin, were on hand at every step of the way. The price was amazing value for money and they offer help with absolutely everything - even if you don’t want to sort the buffet out, you can give them your budget and they will sort it out for you, do all the shopping, and cook it! Perfect!
We ran out of time on the day of the event so wasn’t able to come in early to decorate the venue or lay out the buffet, but Martin and the rest of the team were happy to set everything up for us, and it looked perfect. Every last detail was thought of and we couldn’t have been happier.
The venue itself is lovely, enough space for larger parties, but with enough cosy spots to sit down and get away from the dance floor. Drinks are very reasonable for a city-centre location and everyone was served with a smile, I honestly couldn’t fault any of the bar staff whatsoever!
Finally, we had the amazing Jake as DJ, again who offered a fantastic price and composed a playlist based on what we wanted. Couldn’t have been better!
From the get-go, the staff were all happy to help with every detail of our engagement party and they made it a night to remember, we would definitely use the venue again!

Had the Sunday carvery. I picked the steak and ale pie. Delicious. Friendly atmosphere and our 1 year old ate free. Have highchairs. Parking just outside. Outside tables. Would recommend.
Love the bar with no name, and will be sad when it's closed, Martin and Amy were great hosts I wish them all the best in their next adventures .
Great pub with a local feel in the centre of town. Location makes venue more private. Has fab selection of drinks and great price to. Super place to have party also with a private hire room upstairs!
Nice pub. Friendly bar staff who always make you welcome. Great spot outside on a sunny day, a real sun trap. Good prices as well.
Really nice bar. Friendly staff. Really lovely food menu, chillie is to die 4. Carvery really good value and all home made.
