Really lovely! Old world service culture you hardly ever see anymore. I think this place is perfect for a late afternoon browse this weekend!

Much changed inside, cafe now much larger with more permanent demarcation. The rest of the centre now much neater and roomier thanks to getting rid of some of the previous concessions. Not many people there when we visited though so remains to be seen if the improvements are successful.

Every year I love going Christmas shopping but no where compares to a Dobbies Christmas. Not only do they have wonderful items relating to Christmas but other items relating to the whole Holiday. Staff were extra friendly which is always a bonus ! Even helped me understand how to best look after a plant … which I need!

I love this little garden centre. Just enough flowers, pots, garden furniture and knick knacks for your home. And during Christmas time there are always plenty of Christmas trees to choose from.
Often there is a decent sale. Plus you have extra shops - mountain warehouse, pet shop, toys & book shop.
And there is a Waitrose right next to the garden centre too.

I just bought Vicky (my monstera plant) here last week. this is a big garden center, lots of plants to choose from.

Always friendly and helpful staff. Good quality plants. Can be slightly more expensive than supermarkets, but much larger choice and generally better quality plants.
Good cafe providing meals. Join Dobbies club to get 2 free coffees and 10% of all plants and special members offers. Only 12 pounds annually.
Generally easy to park in car park, but can get busy on weekends. Does share car park with Waitrose customers.
Good aquatic selection at Maidenhead aquatics.

Gardening at it's best. Expensive but worth it as all under one roof. Plus you get a cafe and play area for the kids. Add to this a good quality Tropical fish store with great staff and it an all in one package

Lovely meeting place, café does great food at really reasonable prices and it's a nice centre to mooch round. The café has a little kids soft play area too, on the small side but kids seem to love it!
