Pizzeria Paradiso

I have not eaten meat in over two years but when I did, I ate it all every day. My wife and I went to the taste of Northampton and she said, “I wish you ate meat to try this.” I tasted some of the sauce. A few weeks later I couldn’t stop thinking about it. We ended up back and it was the best thing I’ve ever eaten in my whole life. Just went back again this weekend and felt compelled to write a review. Fall off the bone sticky sweet with a slight kick. I suppose the pizza is good too, but nothing compares to these ribs. Drinks were great and outside has heaters.

I’ve NEVER given a review…let’s start there. Usually, I would think to have my trusted, Truffle Mushrooms Pizza. However, now that I know how IMPECCABLE the Sticky Ribs are… I would have been so upset! Usually, you might get upset that you’re overeating…NO not with this. Also, I recommend the Blackberry margarita (ask to add a lil spice & thank me later). Our server was ON POINT #blessed (ask for Ellerie if you want insured service)! 💕

You couldn't have asked for a better evening. All the staff we interacted with were incredibly helpful and friendly. With a table of 5 with some food sensitivities you know things can get complicated but there was issue making sure everyone could enjoy their meals. Sadly I only remembered to take photos of one drink and pizza. I can say all the drinks we had were delightful and well crafted. For appetizers we had the truffle fries and fried goat cheese balls that were melt in your mouth amazing. We also split the Late Harvest salad, and it was big enough for us all to have plenty. For dinner we each had our own small pizza. Honesy, they are a good size and one could is enough to split if your having appetizers and desserts. You want to save room for dessert! So so good. I can't wait to go back.

Good food! Very solid fare and good service. Pictured is the truffle mushroom pizza. We also got the mac and cheese, and I got the caesar salad and a sazerac. The caesar was tasty; I felt like the romaine could have been roasted for just a little longer. The mac was really tasty but, I think, ultimately forgettable. It might have been better had we opted for the add-ons. I didn't enjoy the sazerac very much, but it was my first one, so I couldn't say if it was personal dislike or an issue with the mixing/ingredients. Finally, the pizza was phenomenal--one of the top 15 pizzas I've ever had. The only problem I have with the pizza is that the dough formula bakes up in such a way that it becomes very cracker-like and unappetizing at the edges. I've had wood fired pizza that was good to the very last bite of crust, so it definitely is doable.

HighBrow is a great Italian restaurant in Northampton! I have been here multiple times and overall have been pleased with the experience. They have a wide array of different pizzas that have great blends of flavors and a nice crispy crust. Their Szechwan Tofu had complex flavors and was way more delicious than I expected. It definitely made the meal so I recommend that. Their Pesto Papardelle was a bit of a letdown and did not have much flavor. It tasted just like plain cooked pasta and I actually ended up taking it home and adding other ingredients. Their chocolate cake, although not "THE BEST" as listed on their menu, is certainly chocolately and delicious but I prefer their cannolis! I will say that the service sometimes leaves something to be desired but I can deal with that for a great meal. Will definitely return!

We had the wings, scallops and pizza all of which were amazing. The pizza crust was so thin and crspy, toppings were fresh and proportionately placed. Scallops were tender with a nice char, and the accompanying risotto was some of the best we've had (my wife makes the best risotto and I will never say different). All in all, it was a nice night and we ate some amazing food outdoors.
