This place is awesome! We've never had a bad meal here since we moved. The portions are generous, and their pizza is awesome. If you want a true gourmet pizza, this is your place! They also have really good authentic Italian dishes. Some of the best pasta I've had in a long time. I really believe that most people accept bland flavorful food as good. These people make food like no other! I promise if you give them a chance, you will not be disappointed.

An excellent place for great Italian food with large portions. My companion and I had reservations on this busy Sunday. We advised our server that we had tickets to a live show at the Roxy and had to get out by a specific time. The place was busy and had one very large party. We waited 45 minutes for our food only to rush through eating and get to the show. Although the food was excellent the poor kitchen production tainted this visit. My companion and I agreed to return when time is not an issue. I strongly encourage reservations ANYTIME you visit.

We visited Assante for the first time for my mother's birthday. The food was good. We were all satisfied with the appetizers and entrees. It is plentiful and delicious. I wish the plates themselves were cleaner. Some of the waitresses were also very loud and speaking inappropriately as if we weren't there. Other than that, it was a good experience. I might be back in the future.

Took our Italy-born father to enjoy an Italian meal. We all had an excellent time and the server was from Italy, which made the experience so much better for him on Father's day. He was able to speak his native language, and get a "nod-of-approval" cup of espresso after the meal. Overall, the meal was delicious and the portions are big. Leftovers for the next day. Right-out-of-the-oven bread was sooo good. The salads were leafy green and super fresh. Would highly recommend over Olive Garden -- like without a doubt. The service, the food, and the atmosphere is so much better for a more reasonable price.

Has it been twenty years . . . We stopped by at 4pm this Sunday in March, 2023 after the movie at Roxy theater. Nunzia was our server and she hustled throughout to assure our pleasant dining experience. Nice to see multiple servers interaction with all table service. A plate of short ribs over homemade mashed and side salad with fresh dinner rolls, $22. Although the meat was a bit salty, the portion resembled a mini roast, tender and tasty. The real veal Parmigiana entree accompanied by 4 oz portion of spaghetti & side salad, $27. Impromptu dinner!

My fiancé and I dined here today for dinner. He had the the Braised Short ribs over mashed potatoes. I had the flounder with artichoke. Our appetizer was the fried calamari and as part of our dinner I had a side garden salad and he the cream of mushroom soup. Pros: our server was really great. Very attentive and polite. The food, DELICIOUS! Everything about the short ribs was spot on. They were very tender and flavorful. My founder was cooked perfectly. The cream of mushroom soup was savory and hearty. Very satisfying meal. Cons: Although they require a reservation for guaranteed seating, it isn't clearly indicated on their website. I checked several times. They were able to accommodate us at the bar which is fine but I would have preferred to sit at a table. Note: if you need same day reservations, our server recommends calling before 4pm the day of for an evening table. Also the braised short ribs were more expensive than what was indicated on the menu. Which I found to be a little uncomfortable. He did tell us when we ordered about the difference but I still found it to be a little uncomfortable. Overall it really wasn't bad experience. The restaurant has a great family feel that I found very pleasant. We plan to return soon (this time with a reservation). I highly recommend them if you want some really delicious Italian cuisine.
