Evergreen Fish Bar

Absolutely delicious! Opted for some items off of the Chinese Menu. The food arrived quickly, was piping hot and I could not fault it. The meat was so tender, the curry had the right amount of spice and fragrant notes, the fried rice was divine and fluffy,. Special chow mein was beautiful, with the most tender meat, including the pork. Will definitely be back 😋

1st time visiting, parking near was not a problem, friendly staff, had battered sausage, chips and mushy peas, chips were nice and chunky and we're really good, if I had to pick fault it would be with the battered sausage, the batter had retained a bit of oil, mainly because they cook to order which was sorted by rolling in kitchen roll, other than that would recommend a visit, can't comment on the Chinese menu, but will try at some point, update : been back several times , the quality of food is great and is getting a popular little chippy would still recommend a visit and you can make your own mind up.

First time visited since moving nearby 6 months ago, was hoping to make it my regular as so close. I ordered a small cod and chip from the friendly lady serving and made conversation about my security dog which looking out of my car window. The server put my order in box and I added salt and vinegar myself, she also put a sausage in for my dog which I thought was a nice gesture. I sat in car to eat and unfortunately although a good size portion of chips they were overdone and dry, the fish was probably a child's size but I did order it and it was very nice. The dog enjoyed her treat and thanked her for it. I will visit again, as it was close to closing time and put that down to chips not being the best. But great staff, service and spotlessly clean with outside seating.
