...Beautiful presentation...a very welcoming and friendly vibe....every bite taste sooo good...lots of flavours that tickle the taste buds...wings were so juicy and flavoursome not tasting like cardboard. Did u try The falafel...? Amazing....never tasted anything like that before soft and full of flavour...usually overcooked burnt and crunchy everyplace else..like....no taste like from effes or marmaris...they wer freshly made and deffo an inside recipe
..i hate to compare to the other turkish restaurants but this place doesnt get the recognition it deserves...1st class food...1st class service.....everytime. Will deffo go again. ..love this place....
I only wish they added the grilled onions with sauce and a dessert of some kind...tea was amazing....
One of the best Turkish places in Northampton. Been here a couple of times already with my family and friend and both times was left satisfied. Shoutout to my friend Emre and his family for the good service both times. Will be returning again.
Ordered the medium sized platter between 3 of us, all young men. Delicious food and good, friendly fast service. Food portion sizes were average/ slightly smaller in comparison to other places I've eaten at but I left very full and content so no real complaints here.
It loses a star as they don't serve bulgar wheat which was very disappointing for a Turkish grill. Also, the flatbread bread and accompanied dips are also limited. Only served with ezme and cacik. Would have liked some additional things such as hummous, olives etc. This was complimentary I believe so again, I cannot really complain.
Overall a good Turkish grill. Somewhere I'd return.

Very nice and pleasant place and staff are really good. They have great quality of food. Only thing that I think they can do better is when you order a sharer meal then I think they should put the rice in a bowl rather then place it on the same plate with the meats and other foods etc, because it can be messy if you scoop other foods that tend to pick up the rice that falls away from the spoon and goes all over the table instead of your own plate.
I wondered in as I had just moved to Northampton and fancied an easy dinner and Hisar caught my eye. I'm so glad I went in, I love Turkish food and the food here was some of the best I've had outside of Turkey itself.
I thought the dishes were reasonably priced, the lamb, rice and salad was delicious and I can't think of the last time I had hummus as good as here.
Will definitely be returning at some point soon!

This is a great restaurant! I dined here with my husband on Sunday and was served by Emre. The food was excellent…so fresh and tasty. Prices are reasonable and portions are very good.
Emre’s service was perfect - He knows how to sell his menu and helped us choose without going over the top. The place is clean and well looked after with a lovely atmosphere.
We will definitely be back! Highly recommended
