The Cromwell Cottage Bar And Restaurant

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was so wonderful. All members of staff greeted us and I honestly cannot stop banging on about how great the service was by ALL members of staff! The bar area before our meal was warm and nicely lit. We sat down at our table for dinner and the food was AMAZING! The whole experience was perfect. We had gone out to celebrate me being out of hospital after a year long illness and I could not of been happier that we chose Cromwell as it was just incredible.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cromwell Cottage in Northampton, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm smiles from the friendly staff, who despite being busy, provided attentive service throughout the evening. The meal itself was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was beautifully presented, showcasing the chef's attention to detail. The flavours were simply out of this world, and it was evident that each dish was cooked to perfection. I had the pleasure of trying the Pork Belly, and it was an absolute delight - tender, flavourful, and a true culinary masterpiece. I cannot recommend it enough. And let's talk about the dessert - the chocolate bomb pudding was a showstopper! It arrived at the table with an air of excitement, and as soon as it was presented, it did not disappoint. The explosion of flavours and textures was a pure delight, leaving me in awe of the chef's creativity. What's even more impressive is that the quality of the meal was matched by the reasonable prices. Cromwell Cottage offers excellent value for money, making it an ideal spot for those seeking an exceptional dining experience without breaking the bank. Overall, my visit to Cromwell Cottage was an absolute pleasure. The ambiance, the service, and most importantly, the food, all combined to create a memorable evening. I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant to anyone looking for a truly remarkable dining experience. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

Really enjoyed the menu, delicious. The staff were very nice, in particular our waitress. She was asked a couple of in-depth questions regarding ingredients in the meal & promptly came back with the answers. She also asked if our meal was a celebration, which it was. When bringing out our desert, the staff came back to our table with a plate spelling out "happy anniversary" written in chocolate, which was a really lovely gesture. Thank you
