Oblique

Just want to make it clear to anyone wanting to dine here, Oblique do not serve halal food. We ate from the vegetarian menu and it was great! My sister had something salmon, myself and my friend had the good food bowl I think it was called. I had mine with lentils and she had rice, we both enjoyed it very much! Along with the sweet and savoury menu, the pancakes and french toast were on point. Looking forward to go back again ! Great service too, thank you!!

As the heavens opened and Thunder rolled across the sky I found the only ray of sunshine on the Wellie Road. Oblique, a smart and stylish little Cafe/bar offering Brunch and Dinner from Wednesday to Saturday and Sunday Lunch. I ordered the large Full English with an Americano Coffee and both were delicious. By the time we left and the rain had stopped the place was full with a laid back vibe. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Was very busy when we arrived but quickly shown to our table. Clearly, they were very busy and took a while to be able to order as there was a back log of meals. Cocktails were really good and wine helped with the wait. Food came out about an hour and 15 after arriving. The calamari was good! Others enjoyed the tomato and mozzarella salad. Mains were good a little disjointed, 4 out of 6 arriving together, then one a while later, and the other was accidentally forgotten. This was quickly rectified. Mains were very tasty. The stake cooked very well, and the chicken supreme was yummy. Overall, it was a really good night. Clearly, staff worked very hard to cover all jobs.

Absolutely fantastic. Went for tapas and cocktails and was not disappointed. The pork belly bites were out of this world. Without doubt the most perfectly cooked pork belly I've ever eaten. Everything was fresh and didn't leave you feeling heavy or bloated. The cocktails were done exquisitely and we watched the bartender make them with passion. Great atmosphere. Our new favourite spot and we can't wait to go back there. Lovely hidden gem, just what Northampton needs.

What a lovely little gem on Welly Road. So far we have only been in for drinks, the cocktails are amazing, The negronis and martinis are delicious. The service is spot on, the atmosphere is great, nothing to fault. What a great find, peeked at the food menu and can't wait to come back and try the food. We got mulled wine to take away for our walk back home. Definitely recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
