We live in weaverham and this is best chippy by far.

Fish (cod by default but haddock on request) is excellent, tastes really fresh, good size and light yet crispy batter. Chips were good too although they sometimes let the side down a touch. Overall it's great fish and chips done properly, I'll be back!

I did visit one Saturday early evening was surprised to see that it was closed.

We had fish and chips, absolutely lovely food, and piping hot. Very reasonably priced. Polite staff. Would go there again. Highly recommend 👌

We had one large chips and curry sauce to share between two adults - lovely spicy sauce and good chips, though a large is a bit smaller than we're used to sharing from elsewhere. That said, we're quite satisfied, and it's probably better than being overloaded by the monstrous portions some chippies do! We prefer when fish and chips come in paper or card, rather than polystyrene.
