The cafe, staff and food were great. My husband, my daughter, my grandchildren and myself had a lovely day walking, cycling, eating and playing. The staff in the cycle shop were also great especially the guy who was so good with our grandson whilst his puncture was being repaired by another helpful member of staff. We'll all be back soon!

Great place to bring the family for a walk and the cafe is a must. As a regular visitor here I have always had good service, good food (try the homemade cakes) and excellent coffee. Can be very busy during school hols!

Simple food & drink served in this new forest centre cafe setting. Well staffed and well organised, friendly and efficient. Photo is of the centre but taken from the top of Old Pale Hill - well worth the climb!

Great place to stop and have a nice coffee and a treat, after a lovely walk in Delamere. Car park next to the visitors centre, easy access for all. Toilets always clean and well maintained. Visitors information center next door with maps and updates.

Nice cafe I only had coffee and cake both were very nice. The food menu looked good too however, and reasonably priced. Dog friendly so a bonus after walking the dogs around the forest.

Loved it! 3 walking routes available, we started on the shortest, got mixed up and then ended up on the longest. One is 1.9 miles another 2.1 and the finally 3.9miles as a loop. It is colour coded to prevent this happening but we were a bit thick and went from green to red but it made a lovely walk as we weren't in a rush. Very pleasant walking trails around the lake with so many tiny frogs bouncing around on the paths so do watch your footing walking about. They are about the size of a 5p so some good eye sight is needed or else you will be taking dead frogs home in the treds of your boots. Nice green areas, great for a casual walk or biking, and as you can see from the pictures, good views and large walking areas. Cafe on site, reasonable pricing and tastes amazing. Free toilets and certainly wheelchair friendly. Great for dog walkers as the area is so large you really can spend the day here and venture as far as you wish around the area. Parking was good, there's 3 or 4 car parks available so if you are meeting with some one make sure you know where before hand. ** like we didn't make that mistake....yes another one** One of the parking sites we visited was huge and not bad pricing to be honest and to help I have attached attached picture for thee to see. Happy venturing!!

I'd definitely recommend stopping here for coffee and cake or an ice-cream. They have a great selection of cakes available too. Personally I've found the meals a little dissappointing. Love that it's dog friendly and they even make dog treats and have dog ice-cream tho

Excellent food and service. Very clean throughout, first class all round, loved it. Started our day off in fine fettle after such a good breakfast here.

Only loses one star due to the price of the food, while cakes and drinks are average for this type of venue, the food is more restaurant prices and while the cafe is nice, the staff are friendly and efficient, this is not a restaurant and the prices need to reflect that. It could be a case of lower prices may attract more customers!! Maybe they are trying to generate funds for the parks upkeep but this is not the way to do that. Otherwise, the park is excellent and a pleasure to visit, with the various walks, the cycle trail etc. I won't mention the cost of bike hire, £25 for 3hrs or the cost for car parking, £3.50 for 1hr £6.00 for 2, Ooops!! Get a membership £70 that incudes car parking if you want to visit often.

Good food and nice dog friendly cafe but the kids food was a bit spicy without any warning on the menu. Chicken goujons were like southern fried and chips were quite peppery.
