A very nice little cafe in the heart of Norwich! Staff are always friendly and happy to answer any questions. Very spacious and modern inside. A good range of food choices and drinks! The jacket potatoes are lolvely and the portion sizes very generous. The cookies and cream/oreo cheesecake is delicious, I would highly recommend this!

Every time we visit the area, Marmalades is always a must for a treat. Ham & cheese Panini with a large slice of carrot cake, washed down with a lovely cup of tea or coffee. Well done & we thank you.

We live in Birmingham, but always visit Marmalades when we're in Norwich. The carrot cake is the best we've ever tasted.

Consistently good food (I have been here many times over the last 5 years) quick service and friendly atmosphere. It might not have an adventurous menu or any ground breaking presentations, but for a light lunch, afternoon tea or a quick coffee break and rest it's perfect. Nice option to sit inside the cafe or outside, inside the royal arcade.

A lovely cafe with an excellent menu. Found the prices very reasonable. The food was excellent, as was the service. The staff, atmosphere and food were to be recommended.

I had the cheese scone which was soft inside as I expected it to be, resembling a soft and buttery, cheesy baguette, and it’s the second best I’ve had in Norwich. This was despite it being the end of the day and not being warmed up, which is still pretty impressive. The slices of cake here are big too. The tables are kept very clean and they are cleared in a short amount of time. There are also lots of seats and the atmosphere is quite casual, so it’s a simple place to chill.

We went to Norwich for the day and fancied a cake and some tea so we walked in this tea room. We ate delicious scone and cheese cake. Friendly atmosphere. Probably popular with local people.

05.03.2023 Haven't been since before covid and it didn't disappoint. Large slices of chocolate cake, lovely brownie and yummy freshly made chicken and bacon panini. Jacket potatoes were freshly cooked and large. Busy at 1.15pm but it was worth it. Reasonably priced and soup of the day is £5. Cramped seating but high turnover so can move if needed. High chairs available. Toilet is out the door and around the back.

Lovely cafe and atmosphere. Clean and tidy. However the girls serving at the weekend were wearing nail polish and their long hair was not tied up. Health and safety ladies!! Please also when giving out cups, don't hold by the rim, use the handle. I shall return as I like the cafe, its the basic hygiene that needs to be addressed. Many thanks 😊

A lot quieter than lots of the cafes on the main high street, we had a lovely lunch for a very reasonable price. Will be returning!

Lovely place to grab a breakfast. It was lovely and clean, the staff were very nice, i had scrambled egg on toast and found the egg was a little over cooked...but other than that it is well worth a visit.
