Lots of toppings and thin pizza. Really nice place for a bite.

One of life’s treats, lovely atmosphere, really friendly staff and beautiful food, lunchtimes never get any better.
The baked haddock pasta bake caused food envy from my wife, it was stunning.
Amber deserves a mention, an asset to Jarrolds
We will be back, thank you

First time user of this restaurant having moved to norfolk last year.
Easy online booking.
Warm welcome on arrival and even though we were 30 mins early this was no issue.
Excellent service from the lady who served us.
Tops marks for the 3 dishes - Gnochi, gauchos and pizza with extra marks for the pizza being GF.
Price for 3 lunches with drinks - a reasonable £42
Will certainly be returning.
Highly recommended

I love the Exchange. Great fresh food most of which is also offered gluten-free. The pizza is scrumptious. Service is attentive without being intrusive. Great atmosphere and definitely worth a visit.

Had lunch there on Sunday. An excellent roast. Pork with crackling, a good and plentiful selection of vegetables including cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire pud and plenty of gravy all served with a smile. Very good value. Will go again.

The Exchange is only three weeks into its new look. It used to be the Metro and in that guise it appealed to the common folk of Norwich to the extent one could hardly ever find a table to sit at. The new name Exchange is quite pertinent as Jarolds' clearly want to exchange their old client base for a more upmarket, more affluent clientele. I went today at 11ish aka coffee time and was stunned by the change in the ambient atmosphere. Gone was the hustle and bustle of the Metro with the cheery looks, now we have a sleek cosmopolitan eatery that exudes middle class attributes giving it a psychological barrier at its entrance. As a consequence there were plenty of places to sit. We had two coffees which cost £5.80, much more than three weeks ago. However they tasted fabulous. It's not a place I will be rushing back to as I want a different experience when drinking my coffee. The staff are now much younger as well, bless them. More hip I expect. Lovely people though.

My husband and I had a great lunch here - the food was excellent and the service was very attentive. Will be back to try more of the yummy food.

My favourite place to shop in all of Norwich. I only ever visit the book department haha but it is my favourite book store in Norwich for good reason. Every time I visit this store i always manage to find what I am looking for as all the books are clearly categorised and nicely displayed. By the same token if I am browsing generally it is always a pleasant experience. If by any chance I do not see what I am looking for the staff are always very helpful and knowledgable. The majority of times I visit I am served by a lady by the name of Anna who has exceptional customer service skills and is an asset to the company. This is my little bit of bit of quite in a busy city and provides a safe haven when I feel anxious. I used to shop to shop here with my elderly neighbour before she passed away who also loved the store and I think she would be pleased to know I still shop here!

Called in to coffee shop for quick break from Christmas shopping and what a shambles it was only just 11am so not lunch rush and all tables were full of dirty trays was told at least 30minute wait for food even teacakes! Only 3 staff working, such a shame as it wasn't even the start of a busy Christmas shopping time .

My favourite Norwich shop - it has everything I want, clothes, shoes, restaurants, fantastic choice of perfumes and toiletries, furniture, bedding, kitchen shop and, most of all, a Deli and book department!

What a great shop. An amazing range of products and lovely cafes. The staff are always friendly and helpful too.

So first we lost BelowDecks which was modernised (ruined) to make way for the more open plan Cafe Metro. At least it was still a pop in place where you could buy a coffee and a cheese scone. Today I have witnessed the latest disaster to take place in this busy little area. What a shame the little pop in for a quick snack cafe has gone altogether. Replaced by a very up market wait to be seated restaurant situation. Quite dark and uninviting, completely NOT what is needed in this area. Apparently the scone is still available I was told, so I checked the printed menu. Yes it was there at £2.30, well I’m sorry but at that price you can keep it Jarrolds. So after forty years of visiting your store for a quick coffee and scone I will now go elsewhere. Such a pity people have to ruin something good that works in the name of so called progress.

A huge thanks to the lovely ladies on the Bobbi Brown counter. They were friendly, approachable, knowledgeable and made us look lovely. Would recommend highly.

Just a small space to chill out why you do your shopping. I enjoyed the food and really enjoyed the glass of wine will so go again brilliant idea in a large store.well done Jarrolds.
Michael Humble
Only popped by for a blimp and ended up taking full advantage of the kitchenware sale.
It's still a fine place to shop and browse.

We had some time to kill in Norwich so wandered around Jarrolds' books department then discovered the delightful little cafe on the same floor where we had a nice cuppa in relaxing surroundings. Once refreshed I decided to brave the bra department and was advised by a lovely lady who took all the potential embarrassment out of the situation & was really helpful even though I decided against buying anything on this occasion. My first visit to Jarrolds for years but I'll happily go again soon.

Went to get my eyebrows done by the brow bar. I have had them threaded there very well before however this time i was just ushered into the chair.. i was running slightly late and she asked me to stretch my skin... This frightened me as i like a bold brow. I asked and was reassured that she wouldn't take too much off. So when i was shown my new brows i could have cried. They are something from the 1990s i could have just drawn a line as eyebrows.
When i complained she said that's how we arch them... I don't care how it's done i was led to believe that each customer got consideration of their face shape and tailored brow to suit.
Now going to buy an eyebrow pencil and hope that my plucked brow doesn't take too long to recover. Will not recommend this eyebrow bar to anyone else.

Had a makeover today at the Charlotte Tilbury counter.
Paris was fantastic he was thoughtful kind and made me feel like a million dollars.
I'm not sure I will be able to repeat the look but I will certainly try.

Great place to visit with personal service. Had lunch with my daughters in Benjis and then visited the menswear department where the service was helpful, knowledgeable and made shopping less of a chore.

Love the store. However, on my Xmas shopping trip today I stood at the Dior counter in the beauty hall for 10 minutes while the consultant chatted with her friend. After making eye contact twice to no avail, I left and spent my £200 with Dior in John Lewis!!

The new Deli is amazing, looks like Harrods has come to Norwich. Well done Jarolds

This shop believes it is right and fair to charge people living in N Ireland (still part of the UK) £5 postage (using Royal Mail) for an item that they charge £3.50 postage for (using Royal Mail) when it's going to England. Royal Mail charges are standard for the UK. So Jarrolds have a nice, but squalid, little rip off going on there.

Love! Love this store with all its independent charm and style

What a great shop this is with excellent personal service.
Laura Brown
I visited the store today to buy a product from Mac that I have been waiting on for ages. As always the staff were extremely helpful and very friendly!

It has the makings of a very trendy and modern wine bar setting.
