Visiting this little pub was such a treat - it's small but with a big heart. It's super dog friendly so we were able to have a drink and eat some delicious Thai food and our pup could accompany us. The staff were super friendly and welcoming and the food was fabulous.

Loved this place. Tiny pub with tiny restaurant above. Great selection of Belgian beers and out of this world Thai food.

One of the smallest pubs in Norwich but also one of the busiest as well.
It has 3 hand pumps of well kept ales plus cans, bottles, wine and cider. Once or twice a year they also have a good beer festival.
Aey the landlady is from Thailand and her hospitality is amazing, along with her staff who are just as good.
Upstairs there is a Thai restaurant and the food is amazing! It's also available to order downstairs.
Well worth a visit if you're in Norwich.

A cute pub with wonderful staff and regulars who are super friendly and up for a chat. Great veggie and vegan options, like the tofu panang and tempura.

First visit faced 45 mins wait to get seat.
Food served fast, for the cost quantity is less.
But enjoyed Thai Food..

What could be better than a Thai restaurant that serves real ale? You walk into the pub area downstairs with a bar and a range of drinks including several real ales, and then when you are ready to eat, you climb the stairs to the restaurant upstairs. We all enjoyed our food very much, and it was a bonus to be able to enjoy a pint or two beforehand. Would recommend

Lovely little restaurant.
Great service and above all, authentic Thai cuisine. Best I've had since Bangkok. Already looking forward to returning.

Another fantastic meal in a great gem of a place. If you haven't been you so need to visit.

Love this place. The smallest pub in Norwich, a claim that is very believable, with a decent selection of cask ales and a doll's house of a Thai restaurant up winding stairs. The staff have been very friendly whenever I've been there, the ale has been on top form, and it's a pleasure to take my pint outside for a sit down, watching the world go by, enjoying the fact that I'm drinking a great pint outside a great pub.

The Vine Tavern probably qualifies as one of Norwich's smallest public houses. So how my Aunty and Uncle held their wedding reception here in 1969, with around 60 people is beyond my comprehension. It has been under the ownership of some wonderful Thai people for several years and I have never been disappointed at all when visiting. I have sampled the Thai curry a couple of times and was impressed. Mostly I have a drink when passing through Dove Street.

Excellent Good Beer Guide pub. Had Tomcat beer from local brewery. Thai sweet and sour chicken which was tasty and delicious. Friendly staff who made us welcome. Highly recommend

I love this place! Small and quirky, superb friendly service. Amazing food and the best choice of beers/ciders. This is close by to where we work and after a long day it's the perfect place to unwind. It's always a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Where else can you get prawn crackers to accompany your Belgian beer?! Or stop for a full meal as it's the also the best Thai in Norwich! They also have the most eclectic music playing in the background that'll have you reminiscing for sure!

Superb food. Beer good selection amazing in such a tiny pub. My only problem is size of meals, then trying to get down the stairs elegantly afterwards. Always made very welcome by the lovely Aye. Soooo full.

Very disappointed, I've eaten here before a few times before and have always been impressed with service and food but tonight I was told the restaurant upstairs was full so had to sit in the bar (despite seeing 7 people come down the stairs after I asked), after waiting a few minutes I was brought the wrong starter and by this time the bar had filled up and I was the only diner 'forced' to eat downstairs, this made it time to leave without even eating, a real shame, I hope it's just a temporary lack of attention to detail.
