Best cafe on king Street. Pete and Maggie provide a warm welcoming environment with great coffee (freshly roasted by The Hewison on site) and a varied menu of food, all highly recommended. My go to for breakfasts or lunches most days.
In this pandemic we tried smokey barn. They have their own coffee roastry and have varieties. The ambience is very refreshing and they are taking all social distancing measures.
Excellent service and coffee plus they had coconut milk for my dairy free wife's diet! Best coffee I have had in a long time. And you get the gorgeous aroma of freshly roasting coffee. Well worth a visit
Out of all the cafes in Norwich, Smokey Barn serves the freshest coffee! I watch Pete often roasting the various beans and it always smells great. He is meticulous at roasting -
only small batches at a time - to perfection which keeps the quality and continuity to the highest.

Great place for a coffee and rest and only a brisk 5 minute walk from the castle. Both owners very friendly and the coffee is great too, which ever one of the 15 or so you choose!

Amazing freshly roasted coffee, best I've ever tasted! Staff are super friendly and have a lovely little dog called Ron! Very reasonable prices and nice food makes for a definite 5 star review.
Full English breakfast is amazing, so tasty and some of the best hash browns and sausages I have ever had.

Lovely people, great coffee, roasted on the premise and breakfast cooked in front of you. The 14 fresh roast coffee beans for sale are reason enough to visit. It's quirky and welcoming in a way that a chain could never manage, rather like sitting in someone's living room.
As a regular visitor to Smokey Barn, and purchaser of their coffees, I can only say that I was astonished by the review of Mohammed Almahboobi!
I have tried the majority of Smokey Barn’s coffees (the Guatemala Baquetito is my personal favourite) and I have never had any “stale” coffee from them!
Have been buying my coffee from Chris at Smokey Barn since he started and the quality has been amazingly consistent. Always a few favourites and regular new beans to try out. Tasting notes are useful and his Youtube channel very informative. I no longer buy coffee anywhere else.
What a little gem! Easily one of the best & most affordable breakfast's I've had in the U.K. Everything has a homemade feel and they have a robust selection and knowledge of coffee. TRY THIS PLACE AND YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED. Big ups on the vegetarian options as well!

The website is easy to use and the modest one-to-one youtube tasting previews really help explain how the coffees are in the cup with different brewing methods.

Excellent coffee shop/cafe. Always has interesting coffees, ground fresh to suit your coffeemaker. Light snacks available. Also has a selection of teas, drink in or takeaway.
As an avid coffee drinker I drink a lot of coffee every day, this brings me to many coffee shops, cafés and the likes trying to find that next great tasting espresso or latte.
