One of the best places to eat that I've been in a long time. The food was fantastic with a wide choice of specials, there was a nice range of beers on tap, good music and a very traditional pub feel about it. Would definitely recommended.
Food was yummy and staff are lovely. The food portions are huge, the sweet and sour chicken wings and chilli prawns are the star of the show. Delicious! We had fish and chips and the lasagne for the main, really good sized meal. Lovely outdoor seating area in the front, really happy we stumbled acro
Made to feel extremely welcome as was our first visit on holiday, Clare looked after us and our dog who got served his own ham and bowl of water. Our food was excellent and lots of it, well recommended if you are in the area. Love atmosphere with everyone very friendly. We also went back for a Sunda
A model of best practice for a country pub. Friendly locals and staff with genuine smiles. Top quality food at standard pricing with a good menu range to suit all within a proper 'pub' environment with plentiful space and good facilities. Three visits thus far but very likely to become our local ev
Excellent service and a wonderful roast dinner, we'll definitely be back.
Great food, a great selection of ales a community pub, Dog Friendly and great band nights. Bob the landlord has really got the balance right here. The pub has a rewards scheme and keeps ale prices as low as possibly can (I’m not a lager drinker) On the food front This evening I had a tender Beef a
We had a lovely lunch here, the staff were fantastic! Clare was superbly attentive, as were the others as well. Food was scrumptious, good portions and served really quickly! It’s a very comfortable place and the perfect country pub.
Amazing. Very welcoming, feels like a old fashioned pub, great selection of beers. But the food. My goodness. 2 of us had Sunday roasts, a fish pie and the liver and bacon from the specials and everything was perfect and everyone ended up jealous of what someone else had ordered. Deserts were incred
Bob and his super team were fantastic hosts for our rugby club RWC celebration. The food is excellent and plenty of real ales to keep the lads more than happy. Brilliant. NURFC Old Boys will be back to our new ‘clubhouse’
Great place to eat and drink, with a wide selection of real ales. Food is always outstanding and presentation is ala carte and priced reasonably. All the staff are warm friendly and attentive. Can highly recomend Clares Ferrero Rocher deserts which are amazing.
First time here, staying in the area, looking after a friend's dog. This is their local, so had to try it Had a Rack of Ribs, partner had Pie of the Day, Steak and Stout. Both very nice. Would recommend it! Dog friendly!
Fantastic pub food. Service is excellent. High quality pub grub with a range of varied "specials" on the board. Reasonably priced as well. Highly recommended.
Exceptional food, varied pub menu and good selection of beers on tap. The chips are amazing. Clare was lovely and took such good care of us tonight. Highly recommended!
Lovely food with a great menu choice. The Ferrero Rocher dessert was delicious! Friendly efficient staff and fabulous atmosphere.
Always good food. The waitress managed to fit us in on a Saturday without a booking. She was lovely.
Fitted us in at the last minute even though we were a party of 6 and hadn’t booked. Very friendly service from everyone especially Clare. Food extremely tasty.
Great meal and lucky enough to time this with their Cocktail Night with entertainment. Brilliant fun night, friendly staff and locals. We'll be back!
Popped in today as me and mate was in the area going to Norwich United FC in the afternoon so we called in to have a couple of pints of local cider, what a great old pub this is. Full of character and they serve real cider too.
