We had cod&chips and it was absolutely delicious 😋 we also had battered sausages but we didn't like them as much.overall the service and speed was really good. They also allow blue light card holders to get their discount. We will definitely return.
Probably the best fish and chip shop in Norwich. Polite staff, fresh food. The Irish curry sauce is great. Since the new owner took over a couple of years ago the food quality and service has improved so much. Don’t let other reviews about a wait time put you off. I’ve never had to wait too long. Fresh food isn’t instant but you can definitely taste a difference.

We travelled from Liverpool this weeknd to visit family in Norwich, stopped off at this little gem of a place! I had the Chilli Mango Prawns, chips, curry and Peas..wow best take away food I've had! Prawns were full of flavour and the chips were proper chippy chips! Curry was delish as were the peas, my partner had the fish and that too was beautiful, very filling and the batter was crispy and fluffy! We also had a flapjack too, they are absolutely delightful! May have to visit family more often to visit this Fish and Chip Shop! Love the way its one way in and one way out! We didn't wait long for our food either on a Saturday evening about 6.30pm and the shop was busy! Great food, great packaging and great service! 👍
Ordered online to pick up had to wait for a few minutes when I arrived but was worth it fish delicious and chips were lovely too also piping hot
Friendly staff, Portions are huge, Food is lovely, fresh and well cooked! Had a little wait but considering it's cooked fresh i dont mind, for those moaning about a 15 minute wait i dont understand- wherever you go you have to wait!? Even at home.. its cooked fresh what do you expect! They even offer to bring it to your car if you want to go sit in the car - which i politely declined as they had enough people in and out of the door i didnt mind waiting outside! flapjacks are so so nice although I had it today as i definitely couldn't fit it in after fish and chips! Will definitely return!!!!
My favourite chip shop. I ring the order in and by the time i get there and pay it is usually ready. Very helpful and efficient. Very clean and varied menu.Can also pay by card unlike some of the others !!
Lovely food, love that the fish is cooked fresh to order. Flap jack were a nice surprise, definitely recommend the Kinda Bueno. Will be back soon, thank you.
So been in this evening( Thursday ) ordered
Cod chips one battered sausage and a bread roll, I waited outside for 25minutes for this order, which is not acceptable, I got home with my box opened it and guess what no bread roll, I Thought the young guy this evening who was bringing orders outside was very dismissive and unfriendly.
I would certainly say it wasn’t overly busy so why take so long? Two other clients outside
Was complaining about waiting so long, one of which actually said to young dismissive lad thanks for that but 30 minutes for cod&chips twice is not acceptable and also said thanks but I will not be back, There was another fella waiting for ten minutes to be asked if he ordered a jumbo fishfinder butty, he said yes I did, to be told sorry we’ve ran out of these so I can either refund you or you can order something else, he had already waited ten minutes to be told that.
What on earth is going on in this chip shop?
Just had cod bites and regular chips. The cod was delicious… moist white flesh and crispy batter and tasty chips. Good value too. It’s not my regular but was open on a Monday so decided to drive there. Will definitely go back again! Highly recommend
