Fantastic local village pub. Friendly people and good beer. Fridays they have a pizza van and occasionally on Sunday burgers which is run by a local butcher.

Great place to come with your dogs on a sunny day. Excellent service and competitive prices. 🙂

Nice large Hotel. Parking near by, pay at meter. The freshness of food could be better. Good size room. Very hot when we stayed early August. Room has air-con didn't have it on overnight. Noisy Aircon motors on the roof plus others. Don't expect a good night's sleep if your rooms near those fans. Good price for the room, would stay again.

This is a good location for a meet up; lots of outside seating which is handy at the moment, in a very nice village. We use it for a meet on our small bikes as Central to the group off us that ride there. We generally have Ghost Ship, other beers are available!
They aren't doing food at the moment, not sure if that will change as the restrictions lift, I'll have to find out...

Beautiful location. Stopped off here for a pint of the cold stuff on my way back from bashing my RC car around the fields. Pint of Adnams, in the baking sun, in a pretty little village, perfect.

Friendly and popular with locals, so you get that village vibe.
Fantastic location with lovely views of this river valley beauty spot.
Perfect place for a good pint after enjoying one of the lovely walks which surround this place.

We stopped here for refreshment whilst walking the Bodicca Way.
The pub was having some substantial works carried out on the exterior.
I found the locals and barman friendly and enjoyed drinking a well earned pint in the beer garden opposite the pub.

Chanced upon the Globe whilst walking the Boudicca Way and it's a lovely traditional pub with really friendly staff and locals. We only had a cup of tea but that was really good and the service excellent. Would certainly go again and for food next time.

OK, never actually been here before but was lucky to Deliver a parcel there on Saturday and I can say I loved the location and the very lovely environment. You can seat in or oustide with a very lovely view. Definitely will not be dissapointed.
