Had a birthday party and it was a brilliant night. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The DJ was included in the price and he was brilliant too. Played a great mix of everything and took requests. Couldn't recommend this venue enough for parties.
Lovely find on the outskirts of Norwich town centre. Rooms are spacious. Supplied with complimentary tea, coffee machine, water and a fridge. Bathroom a little dated but perfectly acceptable. Shower cubicle was just a little tiny. Service was very good and breakfast was delicious. Catered for a variety of dietary requirements. An absolute surprise was an EV charger on site. Would certainly stay again. Very good value for money.
Sadly did not use the pub but seemed friendly with a pool table, darts board...
A fabulous friendly independent pub. All staff are really friendly and nothing is a problem. Rooms are comfy and equipped with good coffee, biscuits, tea, water, with a TV and fridge in the room. Looking forward to seeing Ian and the team again next year 👍
An excellent choice for a nostalgia trip back to Norwich, 15min walk from the station and 20mins from Tombland up/down Gas Hill. Don’t expect 5 star luxury but you get a genuine guest house pub with large rooms containing iron/hairdrier/coffee machine and even an EV charger in the car park though you may need to wait if it’s in use by the owner. Breakfast was fantastic with fruit/cereal/yoghurt including gluten free options as well as a cooked to order range of full English that arrives hot. There is a vegan option which curiously arrived with butter but they have dairy free spread (you have to ask for jam) and the large veggie brekkie was colossal! Room 4 seemed to be in the progress of an update with some missing tiles and a shower gel dispenser that was curiously by the sink away from the shower and the room WiFi seemed to stop working but the pub free Wifi worked fine. Overall, good value accommodation with large rooms, excellent breakfast, friendly staff and a genuine pub within easy reach of the city as well as the close by Lion Wood, Kett’s Heights, St James Viewpoint & Rosary Cemetery
A very friendly wecoming pub/guest house. Nothing is too much trouble. Michelle the chef is friendly and accommodating and is brilliant at producing spot on breakfast orders. The food is excellent and tasty. We'll certainly stay here again next time we visit Norwich.

Awesome place to stay lovely staff and they do a great breakfast. We'll recommended.
Super friendly staff, special thanks to Michelle for taking care of us. Good choice of breakfasts and clean comfortable rooms.
The staff are friendly and my daughter loves to pop in for a slushy in the summer after school
I enjoyed my stay, The room was comfortable and warm welcome from friendly staff, nice food and drink at reasonable prices, and a friendly atmosphere in the bar.
Booked this for my partners surprise birthday, good turnout, music was good and we had karaoke which is always a winner. Drinks weren't overly priced. Clean facilities and a beautiful beer garden.
