I had a couple of hours to kill In the train station but felt a little peckish. Someone recommended this place so I walked over... it was actually really nice. Fast service and I sat there for a hour or so and no one bothered me. The staff are friendly. Worth the visit.

Really, really lovely Sichuan food that's flavorful, spicy and has dishes that appeal to Asian people. E.g. it has cuts of meat like tripe, intestines and pigs trotters.
Huge portions!
We had the tripe and brisket in chilli both 香辣牛雜, and spicy velvetised pork slices. About £30 for two people, so really good value for money.
Spicy pork trotters, and beef slices in chilli broth 水煮牛肉 also really good!
You can clearly have hotpot there, but there wasn't much information about how you can have hotpot? Do you have to book in advance?

I arrived to find a party of 8 around a big table all speaking some language i didnt understand (possibly chinese) and i knew immediately i was in the right place. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I had no idea what i was doing so i asked them to recommend something. Im glad they did because the prawns in black bean sauce were unlike anything I’ve ever had. My mouth was alive with flavours. Unfortunately i thought the portion sizes would be like back home so i ordered two mains and a rice and with regret i couldn’t finish it all even though i really tried. To wash it down i had jasmine tea which was delightful. Im so glad i stumbled into that particular restaurant today.

wow, an exeptional restaurant, it was the first time to ever eat a place where you can cook your own food at the table, it was a failure at the beggining, i didn't knew how it should be, but the chef and waiters had the pleasure and patience to tell/show us, i recommend to anyone to wants to have a different experience when it comes to food
