We went to the restaurant (didn't stay in the hotel). The food was beautiful and the service, outstanding! Dog friendly so we could take our mastiff and he was treated do well. Doggy sausage for dinner, a fresh bowl of water and treats for being a good lad. I highly recommend whether you have a dog or not. It was lovely to look out across the pub garden to the sea views. Lots of parking too. 10 out of 10 and thank you xxx

We booked a last minute overnight stay here as a trial one with our two dogs for a little early birthday treat. Well we were not disappointed. A brilliant location right next to the beach access. We had Sunday dinner on arrival and the food was delicious and plentiful. We had a king size room and were really pleased with the vast size of the room which also had a large bathroom. The room came with great wardrobe space plus plenty of additional storage at the bedside. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits are all complimentary in the room as well as bottled water. The staff were all super friendly and helpful and great with our dogs. We will definitely be returning.

Our visit to have lunch was a delightful experience overall. The location is charming, and we were promptly seated by the window upon arrival. The waitress kindly brought us chilled bottle of tap water, which was a thoughtful gesture. We all opted for baguettes, and they were scrumptious with generous fillings. Each baguette was accompanied by crisps, coleslaw, and salad. However, the salads were a bit inconsistent; one lacked cucumber and the other lacked tomatoes, but we managed by sharing around. The only downside was the extra chips we ordered. They were not very fresh - they were lukewarm and slightly tough. At £4 per portion, they were overpriced for the quality. Nevertheless, the service was good, and we enjoyed our time at The Ship Inn. With a slight improvement in the chip quality, this would be a perfect spot for a meal in Mundesley.

8 x 50-60 somethings, 4 x dogs and a perfect Friday night stay at the Ship Inn, warm welcome for the humans and canines, nothing was too much bother, some of the best fish and chips I've every had and a perfect (I do mean perfect) full english breafast the morning after. The rooms were spacious, clean, well appointed and attractively decorated, very reasonable price for the room food and drinks and the dogs were welcome throughout the pub. BRILLIANT!!!!

I've been here for lunch with friends on a couple of occasions in the last few months and I am really impressed with the food, the ambience and service. Nick the general manager is always so friendly and last week we were looked after by a lovely lady who's name I'm afraid I didn't catch, but she was so attentive and the whole experience was excellent. Thank you!

Eat in the restaurant for Mothers Day there was 12 of us in the party we pre ordered and the only fault was a couple of the soups were only lukewarm, but they were happy to take back and re heat. We ordered a 3 course meal but with the size of the portions two would have sufficed! Reasonable prices; spent about £45 per person but this was without much alcohol.

Restaurant fully booked, but the bar is roomy and comfortable. Might have been Sunday but we went for fish and chips. Couldn't be faulted but the Sunday roasts that came out, had us wondering if we made the right decision.

Stayed here in late december shortly after Christmas and had two rooms for a family of 4 which were excellent, bathroom and beds were super. Amazing view out to sea and location is great as it’s a flight of stairs from the seafront. Quiet and comfortable. Ate dinner in the restaurant which was fantastic too. Best Fish and Chips ever :) 5-10 min walk to village and Tesco Express nearby if necessary We will definitely return (maybe when it’s a bit warmer ;))
