Had the chicken Goujons starter and chips. With the salt and pepper calamari. Was absolutely Devine. And the best curry sauce I’ve ever had. 10/10 will be coming again.
Furthermore the staff are lovely. Even on a Friday when I came at just after 7pm

First time we have been in for years for some reason, little drive past other chippies for us but food was very good, chips were amazing and lovely service. Will be back for definite as a favourite chippie.
I had almost given up on finding a fish and chip shop that does proper crispy batter. Forget driving down to the coast for decent fish and chips. Stop off here on on way down to the coast or on your way back. Well worth the diversion. Great service and well presented place to eat them.
Friendly staff, polite and very efficient. I recently took the kids here for a take away and enjoyed the clean restaurant, fish and chips and the lovely ambiance. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
Fabulous ! Southern fried chicken burger with chips and Battered haddock , gravy and chips. Fantastic deal of 50% off food when eating in, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Gravy was just out of this world, just like steak and kidney pie gravy.
Chips light and fluffy, good portion and not greasy.
Batter was crispy and there was no grease ..delicious, large flakes of tasty haddock. Chicken burger was nicely presented in a fresh brioche bun. Salad was fresh too. Tartare sauce had a lovely flavour, not too sharp.
Staff were attentive, polite and friendly. Thank you for a great meal.... we'll be back for sure.
The best fish and chips around. We drive a long way to get there but the service is impeccable! So amazing its also open on a Sunday. Keep up the good work!
We visited the area from the midlands and this chip shop didn’t disappoint! The fish was incredible, meaty and full of flavour and the chips were amazing! We wish they had chip shops like this where we live! Amazing service and if we’re ever in the area again we will be back. Thank you!
Was stuck in traffic outside the restaurant so thought I’d run in and grab some lunch and wait for the traffic to die down. I’m glad I did as Phil sold me hake & chips to save me some cash. It was lovely but the best part was definitely Phil who explained this is a great alternative but also asked about my day etc. You don’t often get great customer service but today I did!
They are always happy and chatty! I love really crispy chips and they leave that in for a little bit longer for me!
