Open Cafe

My Bloody Mary Beef Toastie and chips were delish! I was a little sceptical as it just seemed like an expensive tostie shop, but I can't complain, I was very satisfied and full! The Beef was melt in your mouth!!! My friend had a Brie toastie and a brownie topped with cornflakes, she raved about her food too!

I've been coming here quite a bit since they opened 😊 The place itself is nice and open with their many windows - nice to sit alone and read, but also great for meeting with friends. I enjoyed their tea variety and the fact that you get a proper pot for a decent price. They also have nice cakes, with usually 1-2 vegan options. I've had both their toasted sandwiches and their topped nachos and can say they're both tasty and filling. There's usually quite a big rush around lunch time and it can be hard to get a place, but it's alright outside of that. I also love that they are open late from Friday - Sunday. Finding a place to get a tea in the evening and have a nice chat are hard, so I appreciate the option.

A little in love with this place: the staff, the decor, the hot drinks, the vibe, the tarot posters in the toilet. It's a little bit bohemian but not remotely try-hard. Not all the dishes are hits but most of the menu is very good indeed and they're all presented with lovely little details that warm you up inside and feel like today will be a good day.

We had a lovely brunch here! The atmosphere is very lovely especially when it's decorated for Christmas! Can get quite busy but it's really lovely if you catch it when it's quiet! I think the drinks are very overpriced and the food is a little for what it is but it all looks and tastes lovely! The menu is a little confusing though.
