My husband has had to have eye surgery 4 times since December. The staff at the Nelson Day Centre and the Eye Clinic are so caring and helpful and the Consultant Mr Sabatino is the best, so patient and reassuring and excellent at his job. Today after 5 months my husband was finally discharged. A huge thank you to Mr Sabatino and his team

I visited the A&E department yesterday with a chest issue. I had blood test, ECG test and X-ray. Everything was done under 4 hours which is absolutely sensible for me. The staff here is really nice and professional.

I'd like to thank all the staff here for being so wonderful. I've been here a good few times. And not once have I had any issues. The staff here are absolutely amazing and so caring. Wait times for me have been in and out in just a few hours. The set up is amazing. It's clean and so up to date. Please keep your heads up. 😊😊😊

I have been so consistently impressed with NNUH compared to other hospitals in the UK. The staff here are lovely, and when I unfortunately had to visit A and E, there was literally no queue whatsoever! Consistently excellent service and treatment. Well done ✅

I unfortunately had to take a trip to the NNUH A&E on Wednesday as I dislocated my knee at home. Although it was very busy when I went, the staff were amazing. From the second I walked through the door the lovely lady offered me a wheelchair and told me what to do and where I needed to go (I'd never been before so I was unsure). Although I did wait quite a long time both in A&E minors and xray, in all honesty I expected to be there longer. Even when another patient was taken poorly in xray and I had to go to another part of the hospital the staff went above and beyond to help as best they could. The only tiny tiny complaint I would have was A&E wasn't signposted clearly from the other xray bit I was sent to and I did end up back in the wrong section of A&E. I then had to walk/hobble back round to minors (not easy with a knee injury!) but apart from that I was treated reasonably quickly and I was given a follow up physio appointment for next week. Thank you to all the staff I saw on Wednesday and to the NHS :)

My 1st time being treated at the N&N, started off badly as parking on site is a nightmare, it took me 25 mins to find a space. Thankfully after the bad start things got a lot better, the clinic I attended were very understanding, listened and were very friendly, the hospital itself is a bit of a maze but with a few directions from staff I found where I needed to be. If I have to attend again I think it would be wise to either get a taxi or bus as the parking raised my blood pressure.

My son has spent over 24 hours on Buxton Ward and I have to say, yesterday we were treated so well. Matt (the Staff Nurse) in particular was outstanding and very attentive. I think Fridays can be a bit slower however, as our nurse today has only been to see us once (to give pain medication) and it’s now almost noon and we haven’t seen a doctor yet. We were hoping to get home this morning but after the Physio’s visit, my son needs a more permanent cast to be put on and everything seems a bit up in the air which is very frustrating! 5 stars though to Matt and the team who looked after us yesterday!! It was very much appreciated.

I have for several Months been having on going treatment from the respiratory department at the Hospital which I have received from Professor Wilson, and the respiratory nurses, I also receive regular appointment telephone calls from them. I have to say my care has been amazing nothing has been to much trouble for them, they are always available for help and advice. An extremely efficient department at the Hospital. Thank you all
